Super laid back chill bar. I came on a Thursday and they had line dancing! Seems a little quiet for a bar but so does a lot of Tucson. Strong drinks and AMAZING homemade ginger ale you cannot miss.

Originally signed a recite that said 12$ with a tip included , the next morning I saw my account and I was charged 30$! For a soda and margarita when I originally signed for 12 ! Don’t know how they can legally do that ! Becareful you might get robed like I did .

I went to the SkyBar a couples of weeks ago to play pool. My friend and I were ask to show our IDs and when I showed mine, the bartender didn’t accept it because it was from Puerto Rico. We explain her that Puerto Rico is a US territory, I have a US passport and I am a US citizen. However, she refused to let us play. I suggest you guys google “Jones act”. Very disappointed on how Latinos are treated here.

Love it here. Went to watch the belly dancers perform. Happens every last tuesday of every month. The food was good, drinks were flavorful, and the staff is awesome. Will be back again.

Only had time for one bar in Tucson and I was not disappointed! Amazing atmosphere that seems to typically have live music, cool light effects, and a pool table in the back.

Look, I love SkyBar — or at least I wanted to love it — but apparently they’re running a secret sauna business on the side. It’s 110 degrees outside, and inside they’ve helpfully cracked open every door and window so the desert sun can come in and finish you off.
There were two fans fighting for their lives and one heroic swamp cooler that honestly deserves a raise and a cold shower. I asked the bartender if they could turn on the A/C and she just sighed, “I wish, but the owners won’t let us.” Same, girl, same.
I was hoping for a chill drink or three but ended up doing a speedrun back to my car before I melted through the floor. Maybe I’ll try again in December when it’s only 75 degrees at midnight.
Until then, if you like your beer served in a convection oven, SkyBar’s got you covered. Bring a towel.
