We were in the mood for BBQ and found Smokey Mo as a recommended place. What a great find! Good food, small cafe atmosphere, and very friendly staff. Prices were reasonable. We ordered the special - BBQ rib tips, fries, and a drink for $12.00. We will remember this BBQ place next time we are in Tucson and looking forward to some good BBQ food.

When did Jesus walk on water? Turn water into wine? I don’t know the answer. But I certainly know Jesus slaughtered the pig I ate at Smokey MO’s BBQ. Right when we walked in Smokey himself greeted us warmly and guided us to food heaven. Potato salad was huge, the ribs fell off the bone when I picked them up. Juicy, tender, to die for. Definitely recommend.

The food was really good, the sauce was fantastic and tangy, onion rings were light and crispy, the meat fell off the bone and was so tender you could pull it apart with your hands. 10/10 would recommend!
Hands down worst bbq spot I’ve been to. Meat dry, sauce lumpy and poorly seasoned, sides flavorless. Best thing on the menu was the koolaid or the tea. Such a let down. Staff was uninviting. Cashier was friendly.

On vacation and looking for a rib place. Smoky Mo showed up when I googled and we couldn't be happier. The food was delicious, service was super fast and friendly and the atmosphere was great. You can eat in or out and there are plenty of non meat sides for non meat eaters.Next time we are in Tucson we will deffinate eat here again! Oh, and the sweet tea!!

I stopped by here for lunch on a whim and it was good food. I had the brisket sandwich (great) that was heaping with meat and the baked beans (so-so) a bit runny for my tastes. There is limited inside seating but they do have some outside seating but it was cold when I went and not conducive to eating outside.

Wow! Best bbq brisket, cornbread, coleslaw, and Texas sweet tea! This is a small and authentic bbq spot. I highly recommend it!
