The lady at the counter was super nice and friendly. I'm not sure if we caught them at a bad time for prepping, but our pulled pork was watery and chewy, the tri tip was dry and flavorless, and the bbq sauce was chunky (for lack of a better word). The sides were just okay. There were a few flies assailing us the whole time. I don't feel the food is worth the price.

Foods good but crazy expensive for the amount you get. $12 brisket sandwich and doesn't come with Cole slaw or any side. Foods good, just not worth your buck.

Maybe it’s just a coincidence, but it seems like every time the usual guy is working the service is great and the food is awesome. But when the woman is working the service is terrible and the food is not good either. I don’t know how a cashier could possibly affect the quality of the food, but I have eaten here enough times to notice a pattern. Maybe her attitude has a negative impact on the whole team.

The chicken and brisket were cooked perfectly! Tender and moist. I prefer my sauce with a bit more kick - but recommend this place and will be returning. Wonderful counter service - so glad I went.
Genuinely my favorite place to eat in AZ whenever I visit. I’ve been searching for places similar to this in my home state, and have yet to find an equivalency. Just get whatever, and it’s fantastic.
Loved it! waaaay better than Rudy's TX BBQ or a Famous Dave's. Brisket, pulled pork, potatoes salad, Mac n' cheese, onion rings and slaw were DELICIOUS ?. worth trying. we happen upon it thru GOOGLE. We not from AZ, just visiting. Small inside, plenty of outside room.

Smokey Mo has consistently been absolutely delicious in the 4 years I've been coming here. Best BBQ in town for me. They have a huge menu with a ton of combinations to try. Amazing Mac, cornbread, collards, wings, sauce. 10/10.I got a huge catering order from them for my wedding recently. Pat and the pitmaster went out of their way to make sure our food was extremely fresh and just the way we wanted it. Can't recommend them enough. Thank you Smokey MO :)

We were down there several weeks ago for the gem and mineral show and stumbled onto this version of a BBQ gem! excellent homemade family style barbecue with very tasty sides, coleslaw and mac & cheese. we loved it and will definitely seek it out when we go back sometime in the future. #
Hands down best BBQ spot in Tucson. So good!
