Short ribs are delicious. Get the spam musubi! I hated spam my whole life until I tried theirs. Life changing. I highly recommend the kalbi beef ribs, bang bang shrimp, spam musubi, rice, tuna mac, teriyaki chicken, mochiko chicken, and their poke. The spam musubi sells out fast so order your food or show up early.

We wanted to try this place and was a little confused about the location, but don't be fooled it's the bar and Solid Grindz when you see it! It's easy to miss at a glance of the sign. The food was great and came out quickly. Both the mochiko chicken and katsu were crispy and delicious (don't get me started on the sauces!). I can't wait to try more!

I haven't been to Solid Grindz since 2018. They were located on Craycroft then. I had a bad experience, after having dined there many times, and just hadn't had an opportunity to go back until yesterday.Oh, I'm glad I did!I had the Teriyaki Chicken, which was perfectly moist with a nice char that imparted a wonderful bite to the chicken. The sauce was served on the side, which I love because I don't want my chicken swimming in teriyaki sauce. I didn't have rice or macaroni salad as I don't eat either anymore, but my friend who ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp (which she LOVED!) said both were very good!Solid Grindz, you won my heart back!!

Forgot to grab a picture, but this is some of the better Hawaiian food that we've found in Tucson. Will definitely be back because they were sold out of the teriyaki chicken.Can recommend the pork and katsu chicken.
