So I decided to try Sona Tortillas. I couldn't find it at first but then I saw a small poster sign on the Boca restaurant that said, Sona was located in the back of the restaurant. So I entered the restaurant and asked the front hostess who said Sona was not quite open yet. She directed to the restaurant manager who ask how many dozen tortillas I wanted, I thought it was strange that I could see the products before buying but I said two please. I paid for them and went home. So I'm posting a picture of what the tortillas look like because when you first get them due to the wrapping you can't see them, I've never seen black/purple ish tortillas. So I am sorry but I couldn't eat them. I called Boca restaurant but couldn't get anyone to tell me if that was normal and no one was at Sona tortillas. Maybe I'll wait until the location is actually open to the public. And yes, I did visit during the open days shown on the Sona website.

This bodega is located towards the back of BOCA Tacos y Tequila. It's so cute, with tons of local items and flavors to purchase. I love looking at locally made goods and finding fun gifts for friends and family. The person who was working there was super friendly! The best part, the corn tortillas that are handmade by Chef Maria from Top Chef! They were delicious and held up well when we used them for our taco night. Super soft and you can tell they are made with great ingredients and love. Definitely check this shop out if you go to the restaurant or are exploring 4th! Bottom line: The tortillas here are handmade and delicious!
