“We usually order online and pick up through the drive through. We went to pick up our order and were met with such a friendly girl named Kira. Shes helped us multiple times and she is the sweetest ever. She always goes out of her way to make sure we’re taken care of.“

“I pulled into Sonic on Thornydale in Tucson. The lights were mostly out, so I didn't know if it was open. I had a slight emergency, I had a pill stuck in my throat! It was this big horse sized pill too! I went to the drive thru. I asked for the smallest drink and told the young lady of my dilemma. No sooner did I turn the corner, this young lady sprinted towards me handing me the drink! Zoe is her name, and she helped me when I was in need! Worst part, I don't think I had enough money! She still thought it to be important enough for me!
Kindness needs to be celebrated these days! Thank you Zoe, our future is bright with empathetic young people like you! Way to go Zoe! 👌If you go by, tell her Sylvia, the lady with the pill stuck in her throat says hello! 🩷“

“Every time I go here I have an issue with my order. 3 days ago I really needed to stop for food and decided it wouldn't hurt to stop for a drink and tots. It took 15 min to get my order in going back and forth with the young girl (who was obviously in training) due to a gentalmen constantly chiming into the conversation I'm putting stuff wrong. I ended up driving away. I will officially never come here again unless I need to be stressed out, and pissed off

UPDATE, August 2026:
I came across my old review from five years ago while I was getting ready to leave a new one, and honestly, I had to update this because this location has come a LONG way since then.
Since the current manager took over, the food has consistently been amazing. My tots are crispy every time, exactly how I like them. The fries are fresh, hot, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, without being overly salted or overcooked. The same goes for the burritos and bacon. Everything actually tastes fresh and cooked properly.
My stepson gets excited whenever I say I'm getting Sonic because he knows he's getting those fresh, crispy fries. 😂 That's become our thing.
My personal favourite is the Jr. Bacon Burger. I usually get two, along with the mozzarella sticks. And these aren't those sad, hollow mozzarella sticks where you get three crumbs of cheese if you're lucky. 😂 They're hot, fresh and actually filled with warm, melty cheese. I LOVE dipping them in the Asian Zing sauce (I think that's what it's called 😅).
And then this morning, something happened that made me want to write this review even more. I was walking to the bus stop when the manager came out and handed me a cup of water completely unprompted. I wasn't asking for anything and wasn't even ordering. He simply saw me walking by and went out of his way to do something kind.
I've been coming to this Sonic for years. I used to stop here constantly with my stepson for the $1.99 burgers and especially when the pickle slush was around. 😂 So being recognised and shown that little bit of kindness genuinely made my morning.
Five years ago, I was frustrated enough with this location to leave a one-star review. Today, I'm coming back to say you guys are doing an amazing job.
The food is consistently fresh, the quality is noticeably better, and the little things like what happened this morning really matter. Please make sure the manager knows that his kindness was appreciated, and that the work he's doing at this location hasn't gone unnoticed.

“Overall, I had a good experience at this Sonic Drive-In. My order was correct, and the food tasted fresh and satisfying. Everything was smooth, and I'd definitely come back.

The only thing I'd suggest is a little friendlier customer service. A warm greeting and a smile can make an already good experience even better. Other than that, this is a solid Sonic location that I'd recommend.“

“Location has changed since I was a kid, but sonic was always a family favorite. Went today with my husband for an evening cruise and we parked to take our order. The crew was super helpful and friendly. Taking our order was super easy and the speaker was very friendly. The blue ocean slush is always a favorite. Look forward to returning.“

“You can tell the staff here really care. The wait time is worth it and the employees are clearly working hard despite the heat. The food is always delicious and its obvious by taste alone that the oil is changed frequently. One of the only fast food places in town with such friendly customer service. Kudos!“
