“First, let me say that these wonderful people (Marlee, Christi, Tara, and the Tucson crew) went above and beyond to help me set up a surprise anniversary meal for my wife. That is just who they are. However, the reason that YOU should go to Sweet Tomatoes is that it IS Sweet Tomatoes. As others have mentioned, we have missed this restaurant since it shut down a few years ago. This Tucson location (the only one currently open in the USA) is perfectly representative of the Sweet Tomatoes that we love and remember. The food is so fresh and delicious. We had such old favorites like Tuna Tarragon and Caesar Asiago Salad. The soups and pasta dishes were outstanding. We especially enjoyed the Roasted Ratatouille Soup and the Coconut Muffins. The atmosphere was excellent as the dining area and serving lines were laid out in the same way as they were back in the day. The staff here are so professional, helpful and friendly. They are the best. If you loved Sweet Tomatoes before, you will be delighted with this Tucson location. Let's hope that they will be opening up in more areas of the USA soon.“

“I really enjoy the food at this Olive Garden, the price is what I don't always like. However, they do have a military discount, and the bottomless dishes will fill you up. The service is always good, I've never complained or made a complaint to a manager (managers circulate the dinning area, and check on customers). We don't eat here often, but I look forward to the next time we go.“

“OMG the BEST Baja fish tacos and THE BEST Mahi Mahi TACOS, IVE EVER had!! And they're so sweet. I took my kiddo here for my early birthday lunch because mommy wanted tacos and the lady brought me a order of churros with a candle and gave me a hug. For a single mom that doesn't get a whole lot of things for such occasions that right there really made my day. And the fact my kiddo sang me happy birthday melted my heart. Love this place. Would recommend 10 out of 10 EVERYTIME!!!“

“Just wanted to give a shout out to an excellent employee named Michael at this location. I hadn't been to a Baggins since before the pandemic. Earlier this week, I was able to have lunch there, and I found it even better than I remembered. The food was fresh and delicious, especially the cookie! But the best thing about my visit was the assistance I received from Michael - he helped me with my order and even made sure I chose the right soda. He even provided me with a to-go container for my left overs. Michael went above and beyond the call, and I am grateful beyond words! Thank you!!“

“Really good sandwiches and very cozy! Went here after flying back from Florida for my uncle’s wedding; I got the high baggin’s sandwich, tomato basil soup, and a lemonade. Each meal comes with a piece of cheese toast and a cookie, free of charge. The sandwich was amazing! The egg salad blended well with the bacon, and the iceberg lettuce added a perfect crunch to it. The tomato basil soup was well seasoned and nice and hot. I reccomend placing the cookie they give you on top of the soup container while you eat the rest of your food to help warm it up. I hope to go again - the food was great!“

“They had a new cashier and he wasn't very good but after we got through that muddle we were able to get our food. My friend asked me if he could order for me to wish I said yes. He ordered the unforgettable sandwich and it was the second best sandwich I've ever had in Tucson“

“I have visited most of the Baggins in Tucson at some point or another. My go to sandwich is the Baggins Unforgettable and it is delicious most of the time but there is some consistency issues amongst stores.

This Baggins is well designed, clean and feels spacious as you walk in despite not being a large store.

The gentleman who took my order was polite and helpful but the rest of the staff seemed bored for lack of a better word.

They have a display of side dishes at this location which included potato salad, coleslaw slaw, and a couple of cold pasta dishes. We tried the potato salad and it was honestly so good. The presentation was nice and the flavors were strong and delicous. It had a strong mustard influenced flavor. I dont like mustard but I do acknowledge that it makes potato salad better and this was not exception.

Our sandwiches were a little light on the turkey and a little heavy on the sprouts compared to other baggins we've dined at but they were still tasty.

This location had the best cookies so far (the small ones) they were baked perfectly but the brownie was a little too cakey. I prefer a fudgier brownie with a little crisp on the edges where this one was too soft and cake-like tho it was good if you just think of it as a piece of cake.

All in all we would try them again if only for more potato salad it really was the highlight!“
