Absolutely unacceptable customer service experience today as a black woman. A barista made an incredibly inappropriate remark about my given legal name, Aarian, alluding to an association with the Aryan brotherhood, a white supremacist group. Because my white partner was driving, the (white, glasses-wearing, female-presenting) staff member here thought it would be okay to make such a disparaging inflammatory comment about a customer: “Nothing to be proud about,” they said. We were absolutely stunned that someone would think to say this. When I asked my partner to park so that I could address this comment in person inside of the store, another team member spoke with me and assured me there was no issue, and the team member who made the remark did not turn around and made no effort to apologize. As a black woman, and as an interracial couple deeply committed to anti-racism, diversity and inclusion, this was incredibly disturbing interaction and I do not feel comfortable consuming the items I paid for. I went through the appropriate customer service channels to alert Starbucks to this incident, and if I do not hear back from the district manager within 48 hours as rhetoric phone rep said, I will take further action.

Its your average Starbucks experience. The store is newer so it's pretty well maintained. The customer service is decent.

Hey Starbucks!! Thank you for moving into my neighborhood! I had a pleasant experience not knowing it was an order and pick up only location and had a very nice conversation with a very pleasant young lady. (i have gotten addicted to the pink drink you might know who I am). 🤭 i had the pleasure of meeting Malachi today very very sweet young man and I believe I might have had service from him at another location he was pleasant at both! I love that they are all so friendly and pleasant even though this is a very busy location. Keep up the awesome work Ladies and Gents! I Luv ya's! A neighborhood Gma 👵🏽

They closed the nice inviting location on the opposite corner to this new building. What a travesty.
I used to visit daily. It was a place you could meet others and talk, work, or relax. I’ve been to this new only once since they opened it, and refuse to return. It is the total opposite experience from their previous location. No tables, chairs, or even lobby. Why?
They don’t want you there, they just want your money. Awful.

This is my go to Starbucks location. The staff is always amazing and most of them know me by name. They always serve up the perfect iced coffee and iced teas! Plus, the art on the cups is always so cute!

Went in because I was overheating and starting to feel symptoms of heat exhaustion. It is 105° outside. I asked for a small cup of water. They refused me service. How can you sit there and refuse somebody service in Arizona in the middle of summer when they are obviously overheating. Never coming here again terrible company. Jesus people have some compassion.
