Always delicious food and good service! Love eating in and picking up take out. Just wish online it wouldn't always say the French dip is out of stock.

I had high hopes for this place. I mainly went for the icecqweem. But it was all meh. And they were out of the 3 flavors u wanted to get. Oh well. I ended up getting a banana split but they were out of strawberry. It melted super fast. Nothing the restaurant can really do about that. Most like won't be coming back here. But the food that passed us looked and smelled great !

$24 for four really average scoops of ice cream in a run down, semi-clean strip mall restaurant. It may have had better days in years gone by but for now, give this place a miss.

We came here for lunch! The waitress was super nice! The food was delicious! I had the Studebaker sandwich and it was fireworks in your pants good!! The ice cream was also super yummy!! They had a dessert with sweet potato fries and ice cream... I know what you're thinking but it was delicious!! I would highly recommend stopping in and giving their food a chance!

Classic diner type food, with good homemade ice cream. The place is a little worn but it adds to the vintage style. Food ok ice cream great. The waitess was the best.

Loved our lunch here! Great kids meals and all the sandwiches on the full menu were fantastic. Had the bacon cheeseburger, the turkey club and the Studebaker. Also tried the fries, potato wedges, Cole slaw and onion rings. All were great. Onion rings are battered and fried crispy golden, the wedges and fries were perfect. The ice cream was also delicious. No complaints at all. Would come back if we were in the area.

My wife and I have been here twice; it has a very nice retro atmosphere. So far we have only come for the ice cream, which is well worth coming for… It’s not just the same old ice cream. We had rocky road tonight; a pretty run-of-the-mil flavor, but it was exceptionally good. Friendly service. Order the banana split if you want something that fits the retro atmosphere of the restaurant. Great place to take your wife for date night.

Last night my family went back to Swensens to try the meal deal. We have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years to celebrate special events with friends and family. We have not been at the restaurant in the past year. I was glad to see that they are now open 7 days a week. The food was great. The service was excellent. Love the ice cream.

Can’t speak to the quality of food - we were ignored for 15 minutes after being seated. Wait staff helped patron sitting next to us twice and never acknowledged us and diverted her gaze.Not a good first impression for us. If we decide to try again perhaps we’ll be able to try the food.

Prices have gone up and the portions have been cut almost in half. Wait staff is very young and lacking food training. Sad to see such a good place declining.

Fabulous gourmet grilled cheese and tomato soup! Perfect for a chilly night! Great service too!

This was my second time getting ice cream to go from here and both times been extremely let down. I got a mint chip shake and girlfriend got a medium coffee ice cream. The shake was very milky and not even 2/3 of the way to the top of the cup, let alone the giant lid. I paid $8 for a 1/2 full tiny small shake that was extremely runny with milk and very little ice cream. The coffee ice cream my lady compared to great value or Kroger and was very bummed we didn’t just go get blue bell or breyers. I assume the food is better but after this I don’t think I’ll be back to try it.Edit: heard from my group chat after sharing my experience there was an a ownership change. Wish I asked before trying because all of them had very negative things to say since the ownership change. Before they offered a $10 lunch special with burgers/fries/salad/milkshake. Now you just get a half full cup of a milkshake for $8. I know inflation is real but this is outrageous. Definitely skip this place. It’s not like it used to be when it was Swensons. Would of loved to have tried the original version before the new owners.

OMG! The ice cream is amazing. Hands down, THE best ice cream I have ever had! The fries also were fantastic! Highly recommended!
