Nico our waitstaff was personable, attentive. The GM Matt was engaging. Our overall experience was relaxing. The Food, best steak in Az. And sides, sweet potato casserole and asparagus were the perfect add ons. Finished off the night with flavorful strong coffe and delightful desserts ( chocolate Bliss and key lime pie) great service and great food. A Tucson treasure.
Service was great. The cowboy steak overcooked and fatty. For $65, I would have expected better. The appetizers and sides were great.
Celebrating our 54th Wedding Anniversary Staff had rose petals on the table which was a nice touch. Our Filet and Rib Eye were cooked to perfection. The cheesecake and Key Lime pie desert were a delicious treat. A traditional dark wood steak house provided a nostalgic atmosphere. Would recommend a visit.
We went to lunch and it was very quiet. I would have preferred a little more activity and atmosphere. However, the filet mignon was perfect!
Everything was wonderful as usual. Bruce made our dining experience a lot better. He was professional, polite and very helpful with the recommendations. Can't wait to go back again
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. I received a free piece of cheesecake for my birthday. The steak was cooked to perfection, the French onion soup was very good, and I always love a large baked potato fully loaded. The wines are reasonably priced and enjoyable. We will definitely return.
We were there late on a Wednesday. We've been here a dozen times in the past couple years, and used to come here a lot 15 years ago. We always enjoy the food; however, the restaurant has a "tired" appearance. Lots of wear. It can be felt in almost every portion of the business. Bathrooms, bar, bar drinks, furniture, decor, etc. It's time for a remodel or at least be sure everything works and looks good. Josh, our waiter, was great! We've had him help us before and we enjoyed the service and his honesty in answering food choice questions. Thank you, Josh!
We've tried just about every other fine steakhouse in Tucson proper, and keep returning to Sullivan's. Food is reliably very good to outstanding (I'm a fan of the Cajun ribeye), and service has always been hospitable and accommodating.
We were celebrating out 50th wedding anniversary. Had a great meal and service was excellent. we received a free dessert (great Crème Brûlée) in honor of our special day. Highly recommend!
This is the second time I have trusted Sullivan's with my special occasion (birthday, wedding anniversary) and have been happy with my choice both times. Food is top notch, and steaks are obviously the star of the show. Service was also excellent, and Bruce had nice recommendations for my wife and I.

Steak was terrific! Our server, Renee, was very kind and attentive. Thank you for a wonderful evening
We have been there a few times and had no complaints. This time we were seated in a booth next to the kitchen and we heard too much kitchen noise. Plus that area was very cold, one row further towards the front it was comfortable. The food was still excellent, but if we return we will not accept the booth or table they take us to unless we like the location.
All was good except our food came not hot...so we sent it back and they heated it up and it was great
Our first time dining here and most definitely the last. Celebrating a birthday, we anticipated a fine-dining experience. The ambiance is lovely, but our food was dreadful. We selected the seafood tower as our appetizer. Although it was nicely presented, at $150, we expected top quality, but it was subpar, not at all fresh, and disappointing. Our table-side wedge salad was drowning in weird tasting dressing and very large chunks of very salty bacon, was not at all pleasing. Our main entrees, both priced at a high-end dinner house rate were the worst part of our meal. The lobster thermidor had a minuscule amount of diced lobster with mostly breadcrumbs and an off taste that was stuffed in the lobster shells. The crab stuffed shrimp was tasteless, rubbery, and burnt on the top. They were so bad that we had to send them back. The two sides were grossly overpriced when compared to the poor quality. The lobster-garlic mashed potatoes were so salty and odd tasting that we sent them back, too. The creamed spinach was average and we took it to go. The server took a longtime to check back and so did the manager on duty. Although our waiter was pleasant, as was the manager, it didn't compensate for the overall disappointing and unpleasant experience. The service was too slow and poorly orchestrated. This was baffling as the restaurant wasn't very crowded. We were there 2.5 painful hours. The price of our entrees was eventually reversed, as was the lobster-garlic mashed potatoes. We were offered desserts on the house, which we took home. The key lime pie was average, but the carrot cake was dry, overly sweet and not edible and went in the trash. Life's a journey, looking forward to our next dining adventure, but it won't be at Sullivan's.
Service was actually quite good. We were there for a birthday celebration and the highlight was a complimentary dessert. However, dinner took forever to arrive and the steaks we ordered were mediocre at best. Very expensive for the quality. A side baked potato was $13! Steaks were $75 and up. We knew the prices, not a surprise but the quality has just gone down and I doubt we will give them another chance. I will say I do enjoy the ambience of the dining room. It's nice to see a place still has and observes a dress code.
