I’ve enjoyed Sunrise Baking Company’s pastries for a while now without even realizing it—turns out they’re the ones behind the amazing blueberry and pistachio muffins at Chocolate Iguana and the delicious Bearclaws at Coffee Xchange!
I recently called the bakery and found out you can order directly. The office staff was so friendly and helpful, and the whole process was easy.
Everything is baked fresh daily with no preservatives, and you can really taste the quality. I love supporting local Tucson businesses, and Sunrise Baking Company has definitely earned my support!

I've been to establishments that have served thier products and I must say I absolutely love jalapeño and sour dough bread for sub sandwiches. I've also enjoyed the Danishes they make as well! Great products from a great bakery.

This place is a gem! The muffins have been a huge hit so far! Great price, and even better quality/taste! I will for sure be ordering more stuff in the future!
I used to work here back in 2016. Owner Tom and manager Tim Barton (yes, the same Tim Barton that gave 5 stars on this Review section) appeared to be genuinely nice people; didn't last long to discover that wasn't the case. The two males and two females working in the front were two-faced.I am writing this review now because I recently filed for unemployment because of the pandemic affected me as I'm sure it has affected everyone else. So, they told me I had an issue from back in 2016. I told them that I never filed unemployment back in 2016, as I was able to get a much better job than the job at this bakery. They told me that Sunrise Baking Co sent papers to them telling them that I voluntary quit when that was NOT the case; I was fired due to me speaking my mind on how messed up they did their workers (lowest pay possible, that's why they love hiring Mexicans with work permits and such; breaks were almost nonexistent; way too much work for minimum wage, the place is very unsanitary and crawling with mice and cockroaches; showing off his wealth to his employees that are barely making ends meet with such low pay) So they fired me and thought I was going to file unemployment so they decided to "make the first move" and lie about it, on top of that. I find that very petty and ridiculous, I couldn't stop laughing when I heard this. 5 years later, though I knew how they were, really shows Tom and his company how petty they really are; that's why I am leaving this review, hope you see it, Tom, on how petty you truly are.
