So far I've eaten lunch here twice and both times I have been thoroughly impressed by the food and the service! The quesadilla is super good and just has enough kick to be tasty but not so spicy your nose runs.... lol the poblano peppers are cooked to perfection and the pico de Gallo is delicious! Today I had the pulled pork sandwich and sweet potato fries and I couldn't even finish it! The bread was soft and the caramelized onions gave it a really nice touch!Wheelchair accessibility: Alot of spacing between the tables there is a step to get to the top half of the restaurant but the lower part is spacious and nice!

We ordered our food one hour ago, still waiting!..a friend had to leave to make his meeting. This place might have a fantastic view BUT the restaurant time and personal management is terrible! STILL WAITING

An excellent staff and atmosphere! The burger is delish and the Swiss is recommended, the meat is seasoned well and the bun slightly toasted. The Caesar salad is a healthy portion/entree size. Bailey made some great meal choices and our waiter Jim was pleasant as well Would come again!

6 of us attended a breakfast/lunch together. The experience was not enjoyable. Our orders were taken and then we waited a fair amount of time to start getting g our meals. One meal was not prepaired as described....toasted, came out soggy. It was returned to be brought out untoasted. 5 of the 6 recieved their servings and 1 waited 15 minutes to find out it had not been cooked yet. Waiter was cooperative in reordering. It seemed that waiter took order then Another person delivered. Atmosphere was more like a cafeteria than we expected, we will not be returning.

We ate at Sundance Cafe twice during our stay at the El Conquistador Resort. This is a large restaurant that is conveniently located inside of the resort. The atmosphere is quiet, relaxing, and comfortable. Our server was Mirah both times. She was a good server, very friendly and attentive. As far as food goes, it was hit or miss. Sadly we did not try the buffet as everything looked old and dried out, but the food off their menu wasn't terrible. I did the Chipotle Chorizo Eggs Benedict the first day. It wasn't very good. The dish was very basic and bland for the price, and it didn't taste very fresh. The other guests got Omelets and the Eggs Your Way, which were very good. The second time we went, we all got eggs along with their pancakes, which are excellent. Overall, this is a decent restaurant, with good ambiance and service along with sub-par food. I've definitely had worse breakfast food, but for the price, the food just wasn't very good. By the way, I would not recommend you stay at this resort. Our casita had black mold in the vents, along with stained sheets and dirty carpet.

45 minutes to get breakfast and Coffee not just for us but others. Mangager stated he was sorry but their chef called in sick. No more no less to 3 tables while we ate medicore food. Yes 45 minutes to get our order! We live local but we're there not only for breakfast but to look at this place for an event. The manager on many levels is so far above his head on this date its scarry.

Very relaxed atmosphere with the staff looking to make your day a pleasure. The southwest omelete I had cooked to order was great, complete with quacamole. The Hilton Diamond paid for ($15) half of the buffet cost but it was still a good. The coffee was even very good. With the mountain and resort views in your sights, this makes a very relaxing breakfast. Now on my way to Saguaro National Park and Pima air and space museum.

We ordered 2 martinis, the chocolate martini was terrible, chocolate syrup with vodka. The regular martini was served in a chipped glass, the replacement was chipped as well. Did not get another one. Service was extremely slow food was ok at best. For this being a higher end property it did not meet the expectations.

I ordered a simple salad for lunch $13 and it was terrible. The lettuce was limp. The tomatoes were over ripe and just awful. It was basically inedible. When I mentioned the tomatoes to the waitress she said nothing. Won’t be going back. Would like to give a negative star! This restaurant has gone downhill over the years.

I am an Oro Valley, Az local residing very close to where the Hilton El Conquistador Resort is located. I was very excited to have breakfast at the much touted Sundance Cafe to celebrate a close friend's birthday. I informed the staff this was a birthday, but no staff acknowledged the birthday person at all. PROS: The Resort itself has lovely grounds and the Cafe is located inside the resort itself. The dining room is large, has two levels of seating (some window seating), good table spacing and a lovely patio attached. CONS: They advertise a menu of items ($15 and up) along with a "buffet" that is supposed to have an Omelet and Pancake Station and costs $26 per person. First off; the staff appears "tired" and there weren't many. The coffee served is NOT premium but a weak, bland brew. We ordered the buffet and WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. The Omelet/Pancake Station was not open (only weekends we were informed, but price was same). The buffet layout and items was no different than a standard FREE breakfast at any Hilton Hotel you'd stay at!! Everything was lukewarm, nothing was special and what was there was not replenished quickly plus the floor area was sticky. yck. This was a birthday; so I didn't make a fuss and paid the bill. However, I will never be back and can not recommend this cafe. What a shame.

I was pretty excited to get the Huevos Rancheros which came with refried beans, crispy tortilla, corn, black beans, cheese and I got it with 2 sunny side eggs on top. The dish lacked a lot of flavor and was just really watery. Either the sauce was really watery or they didn't do a good job draining the water from the beans or something. The freshest part were the eggs. Otherwise, the dish was just okay. A bit of salt and pepper helped.
