Love us some sushi! We’d not realized that the restaurant closes in 30 minutes and we were basically told we close in 30 minutes can you get out by then? It was a little awkward ? Additionally, my wife had just had a back fusion and we needed to switch tables which visibly irritated the server. Maybe she was having a tough day? Food came out and was delicious as usual, however we couldn’t get past walking in and the smell of sewage in the restaurant. I’m not quite sure where that came from as it was a new smell to the restaurant because we’ve eaten there before. Would we go back? Yes. Would we take friends probably not. They have some mid day hour closure so be sure to check the website before heading in.

The food came out great. The plate looked fantastic and the cuts were really good. We came in for lunch week day, service was choppy but everyone did come in at the same time. Still our meal came out fast and with no disruptions.On our Last visit, the tataki was terrible.Manager took 0 actions to fix it even though we mentioned it to him.

Came here with my husband like an hour before close. Manager aka tiny man was extremely rude rushing me to order even tho the menu is crazy long with two menus one with pictures and another with prices which I think is complicated and time consuming. So first off me and my husband ordered the squid. It was really rough and chewy and for it to be the most expensive appetizer they really showed their true colors with that one. Secondly we got four rolls and everything was ok but each item tasted bland with no originality and I know for a fact I've had better fresher sushi here in Tucson. The food was a 3 the service was 0 stars. I had a pretty anime character of a waitress but tiny man kept working the table being unnecessarily pushy and annoying. Like don't have a restaurant if you don't want people enjoying their food.

Me and my partner love sushi and this place had an amazing selection. Also loved that the menu had pictures, presentation of the sushi was great and we loved the scallops.
1.) The service was terrible. The waitresses were more concerned with sitting at table, surfing their phones. My food was left at my table and the next time someone checked on me was when I asked for the check.2.) The tuna roll was good. It was the only thing good about this place.3.) The salad was terrible. The lettuce was saturated with dressing like it had been sitting out for a while or sitting in a refrigerator pre-made.4.) The Tappan Chicken was awful!!! The chicken was rubbery and drench in sauce. The vegetables had a weird, salty taste to them. They didn’t taste like normal stir fry vegetables.5.) The water tasted like it came from the tap. Arizona water has a unique taste to it due to all the minerals. If it was filtered, it was done poorly.

Ok the sashimi was great but the portion size on the sushi roll was extremely small, like we got home and opened the box and laughed out loud because we were so confused at seeing the tiniest 5-piece roll. It literally looked like half a regular roll.

Let me first start by saying this was my second time at this restaurant. The 1st time was pre-Covid for a relatives birthday party. It was hard to judge the food since everything was pre-ordered. My 2nd visit, a couple of weeks ago was a not good. We ordered a shrimp tempura appetizer, a teriyaki chicken bento box, and a Katsu chicken plate. We specifically requested the appetizer brought before our meal. Yet everything came out at the same time. Leaving no room on the table to eat comfortably, things are falling off the table, including a bottle of soy sauce fell & broke. They never provided any small plates for the appetizer. Why bother, they must’ve figured we would just eat it as part of our meal. I personally got up and walked over to the wait-staff station to get our plates because no one ever came back to check on us after the meal was delivered. I went to wash my hands in the bathroom and had a to hold my breath. It had the strongest ammonia urine smell, it’s like the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned in years. It was worst than a stinky bathroom in a foreign country. (The kitchen is just right of the bathrooms). The teriyaki chicken was dry and rubbery, flavor was underwhelming. The California roll was so loosely rolled you couldn’t pick it up because it just fell apart. I’m giving them two stars because the shrimp tempura was good.With that atrocious smell coming out of the bathroom, lack of service and mediocre food, I’ll never be returning. That smell should probably be reported to the health department.

Nothing is good. The sushi was nasty. The ingredients used were not fresh, and most of the fish looked like raw dry chicken. The avocado looked like they dug that out of the garbage disposal.
