While we have enjoyed Sushi Zona in the past, today's experience ruined it for us. My wife and I arrived at 2pm for a quick lunch. We were unaware that the restaurant closes at 2:30pm. We ordered waters and 2 sushi rolls. The food was good and the server came back and told us that it was "last call". We ordered 2 more rolls immediately. The food arrived quickly and while we were eating the server came and squeezed between us and the window to close the blinds brushing us with the server's backside. The server proceeded to give us the check. We paid while eating. At exactly 2:30pm the server asked if we wanted a box and that they are closed. We asked if we could finish the last few pieces of sushi. The server said "well, we're closed". At that time we let the owners know that their server had virtually kicked us out before we could finish our meal. We were offered no apology or acknowledgement from the owners or the server and we left. We will not return.

My favorite local place (not just Sushi). Used to dine in more, but with kids now doing more takeout. The Japanese mint on some rolls has amazing flavor and the very spicy "You gotta be killing me" roll is an adventure best shared with friends. "Japanese favorite sushi" is my go to. From a couple trips to Japan (which has many different kinds of food, not just what's here) I'd say this place is quite authentic as well.

I ordered the beef udon with some rolls and it was all delicious. The family that owns it is super kind. I caught some baseball on the TV while I waited for my food.

We ordered an Uber Eats pickup and when we arrived to get our order one of the staff members asked how they could help me. I said I had an order for pick up through Uber Eats and they asked to see a confirmation number, weird because I have been asked that just provide my name and I get me order, but glad they asked. My Uber Eats order had my entire order, the restaurant didn’t receive an order so I was missing an entire roll.
The attention to detail, quality of food and price is a reason I would travel back from Denver to visit again and again.
Wed 8/7 First time n sorry to say the last.. yes as reviews say, small clean good service BUT!! Where's the fish?? I've eaten sushi all around country east to west north to south never saw such teeny weeny paper thin slices with a small marble size bit of wasabi not even table spoon of rice.. and few slices of ginger.. there was a sign stating ".25 for more ginger" ?♀️ Yes a 1/2 bowl of tasteless Miso soup for free ha I was honestly ready to eat n spend $$$ but couldn't justify spending n not getting a fair meal.. my friend and I looked at each other and laughed The tiny soft shell crab was mostly fried batter Nothing special or memorable about the place... I'm shocked by all the rave reviews... CAUTION..

Visited here several times and every time there's always a warm welcome. Never overcrowded. Good food, wonderful customer service and wheelchair accessible space. A nice little spot with a calm atmosphere and attentive staff.
Wheelchair accessibility: Can wheel up under the tables to eat and accessible restroom.
Excellent option for sushi and sashimi in Tucson. One of the top 5 here. Service is always great.
