Went for breakfast today 10/31/25 around 9:30ish. My girlfriend ordered the eggs and chorizo with rice and beans. I ordered the huevos rancheros. The only good were the rice and beans. The chorizo was definitely not anywhere close to authentic. It seemed like mashed up hamburger patties mix with their idea of chorizo spices. Yuk! The red sauce on the huevos rancheros had to have been from a can of puréed tomatoes. Horrible! We ate some because we don’t like to waste food but there was no way we could eat this. The poor waitress asked if we wanted a togo box we declined. We didn’t have the nerve to tell her how bad the food was. Next time we’ll head over to Poco and Moms.

This place is absolutely fantastic. I come here with my wife as frequent as I can. Authentic Mexican food straight from Mexico. The Molcajete is to die. If this was the last meal you eat in your life it would definitely be worth it. Don’t ever go to any other place serving Mexican food like Taco Bell, Filiberto‘s, any other chain Mexican restaurant. You need to try real home-cooked meals Just like your mama’s house.

The bean and queso dip included with the chips and salsa is addictive. I’d come back just for that! The shrimp enchiladas with poblano sauce were great. This is an Eastside treasure
