This place has changed I used to come here when I was little. Menudo is okay. The coloring is weird to me. The price is great though the burritos are amazing !! Horchata is okayyy

The food is very inconsistent. I ordered a half gallon of soup they give you no tortillas no chips very disappointing 20 bucks Disappointing not to mention the potatoes in my soup were very hard last time I ordered. They were mushy this time. They’re very hard very inconsistent. I will not be going back there again.

FLAVORFUL delicious vegan burritos. I pick up every time I'm in Tucson. Genuinely some of the best burritos I've ever eaten.

My favorite place by far for burritos in Tucson. Their house-made flour tortillas are so delicious and fresh (though the freshness level can vary some by the day of the week). Really good tasting flour tortillas that are also lard-free. The real star for me here is the battered and fried cauliflower burrito. It is soooo good. I do think that this is a place to get a burrito at, I wasn't as impressed with the non-burrito options here like tacos/ nachos etc. I did enjoy their tortilla soup and for burritos I also really like green chilli one. I always want the battered cauliflower one though! Their beans ( vegetarian and vegan) are really good too. I love when they have the green salsa available with the burrito but sometimes they only have red salsa which is also good. Their green enchilada sauce is good too. I need to try the red enchilada sauce sometime. I didn't like the lentejas (lentils) but only tried those once. The battered cauliflower burrito here is a must try in my opinion as well as their house-made flour tortillas. It's a simple place that's counter service with many options that are priced for various budgets and sizes. Very vegetarian and vegan friendly.

Excellent machacas and eggs, excellent flour tortilla, excellent hospitality from the owner. Great finish to my Tucson trip, looking forward to coming in again the next time I'm in town.

Great spot for some tasty vegan Mexican food! Not just veggie/calabacitas but actual protein options like vegan chorizo and knowledgeable staff who understand what vegan means. Don’t be fooled by the hole-in-the-wall look, they have a nice seating area inside Updated from previous review on 2025-12-22

Hands down the absolute BEST Mexican food in Tucson ESPECIALLY the Menudo & Carne Asada. The owner is extremely passionate about his restaurant & you will definitely notice this every interaction you encounter with him.

Yes yes these people care about what they're serving you to eat I recommend the $6 burritos, refried beans are the best and chips are cooked and clean oil,@please consider giving this small business,@some love they deserve it call in your order and go pick it up. They were out of tamales because the ladies on vacation who makes tamales but there's lots of good stuff on their menu it is a huge menu and very good ingredients. The parking lot needs to be paved for sure but it's what's inside that counts.

It makes me sad to have to change my rating for what used to be one of the best places in Tucson. The experience here has deteriorated so much. The server was very rude, and didn't properly process card payment, including signing the POS without alerting us. The salsa was just red water with no vegetables or flavour.

Formerly five stars, now it's easily less than one.

Prices were kinda shocking to my son lol he wanted to leave but we ended up staying and instead. Not sure if we'll be back. Food was good though.

Burrito was definitely not worth the price. Tortilla was dry and stale
