This time we tried the quesabirrias, they were very good, they are not spicy, and also the menudo, everything is good and anyone can try it since it is not something that is spicy. There was music at a very low volume, you can talk

Really delicious tacos, burros, with slow cooked meat at the ready. Plenty of seating. Super fast staff in the kitchen.
Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome here.

Authentic Outstanding Mexican food. Service good. They don’t speak English but if you want great food and are willing to be friendly, patient and respectful with waitress as you both struggle to communicate she will serve you promptly and with a smile.

Traveling through and found this little gem tucked away off the freeway. Was surprised they were open so early. Very very AUTHENTIC place. The owner let us in early until she was ready. Ordered the menudo, tacos, and they even have Mexican coffee, it’s strong and very very dark. Stop here if you have time to kill, traveling through , stop and get yourself some amazing food!

This is Mexican food, I don't eat everything in Tucson with canned rice and beans.
You must come eat some delicious tacos, the food tastes like Mexico

El Corral de la Vaca is a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Mexican food in Tucson. The location is really convenient, and the prices are surprisingly affordable for the quality you get. The food is always fresh and flavorful, and they have a great salsa bar with tons of options to choose from. Another big plus is how clean the place is—it’s clear they take pride in keeping everything spotless. If you’re looking for a solid spot for a meal that won’t break the bank, I definitely recommend giving this place a try! I would only recommend adding vegetarian options.

First time ordering here. The cabeza was good along with the birria. The homemade tortillas definitely elevated the food. I would recommend
