Exquisite cuisine, great drinks, friendly & courteous service. Tavolino never disappoints.
Everything regarding the dining experience was very good. The food was great and great service by Ryan
We had a bit of a wait for our server to take our drink order but once he took care of the table he was great. But I was so sad at the quality of the food. We had four of us and two were served about 5 min apart and cool vs hot. Not good. Shocking as this was unusual
Our (party of two) first visit here for a evening meal. Everything was perfect: service (Dustin our waiter), decor, noise level, spirit and wine list and menu selections could not have been better. Will definitely return. Highly recommend.
It was overall a nice evening. Severs weren't overly friendly. Could have been a little more personable.
Delicious food and fantastic service! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish.
Went for Birthday dinner! Everything was delicious!! 5 Star! Lemon Sorbet best ever! Thanks server Vinnie, we had a great time! We'll be back!
Everything was nice and the food was good but we were expecting exceptional. It was good but not wow.
We had a great dinner - excellent food, homemade pasta is delicious, and the pacing was relaxed. They seated us on time (reservation) and were attentive. We will be back!
Really enjoyed my experience! Everything I had was great, especially the bread made in house, lasagna, and tiramisu. Can’t wait to go back and try more! Great service and nice atmosphere as well!

Horrible wait service by Brandon........ we ordered for the 2 of us, including a bottle of wine...Offered a taste for the wine but NEVER the cork to smell.....waited a while longer after the wine and finally asked Brandon for some bread as we had nothing on the table.. NEVER came...finally our meals arrived , brought to table by someone else and we asked this person for bread a 2nd time which promptly came then.....Though it was a nice bottle of white wine, NEVER offered a wine cooler ( ice bucket or something ) so the wine lost its chill over the meal time ....The restaurant was busy but NOT crowded, several empty tables throughout. No one asked if our meal was ok once served, until towards the end by a different person....Mentioned to him our displeasure over the service and he said he would contact the mgr....mgr NEVER came to us .......Finally Brandon came over ( 1st time since offering the wine, never during the meal ) asking if we wanted a check or desert....Told him of our displeasure with the service and he blamed it all on the "new busboy "....Hmmm, if there is a new busboy and our waiter knows it, shouldn't he have been more attentive then to make sure all was well ? Plus the busboy doesn't open the wine ...When we received the check he gave us a $10 off card for the next meal ...hahaha...There will NEVER be a next meal after 20 years of frequenting Tavolino...When we were walking out, the mgr and Brandon were standing by the hostess table talking...I gave the card back to them and they stifled a laugh as we walked out...Maybe the Mgr should have asked us why ?.......BYE TAVOLINO
My wife and I choose Tavolino a lot. From the freshness of the bread that greets you upon sitting down to the quality of Italian cold cuts in the antipasto appetizer to the tender eggplant in their Parmesan dish, the food is always top flight. The tomato sauce made here is amazing if you appreciate good sauce. Extensive wine list. Service is very friendly, spot on and responsive. The same servers, some we now know by name after 7 years (Brandon is terrific), speaks to employee retention which speaks to excellent restaurant management. And the manager, if she isn't too busy making sure everything is ship-shape, will say hello and make sure everything came out to your liking. I rarely write reviews but this place has been a constant in my family's dining experience and I think I've been taking it for granted. So, Tavolino, SALUTÉ!!!
As usual, the food, ambiance and service were outstanding! The house made pastas are delicious, including the butternut squash ravioli.
Food is great for Tucson & I've been a fan over 20 years Ambience always nice. However, wouldn't it be inventive if the restaurant changed or added a special once in awhile besides the soup changing daily?. Very formulatic here. Look at Misi in Brooklyn or Via Carota in NYC, Perbaco in SF. They're not afraid of making positive changes. It's the same when ordering desserts here. Same core no changes. You have the talent in the kitchen, let some creativity shine through.
Upon walking in, the restaurant was inviting and comfortable. The service was commendable. Our server Eduardo was personable and attentive. All of the food was top notch. I recommend any of the fresh pasta plates.
