We both had to send our meals back based on improper cooking temperatures, we barely saw our server so we had empty glasses, nearly the whole time that we were there, and although the server was overall friendly, the quality of the food and the ambience was not what I expected for the Hacienda.
Beautiful property. The hostess who took us to our table was not friendly. She attempted to sit us in the corner next to the door. Half the dining room was empty. We asked to move to a better table and she stated: “The tables were accounted for due to a wedding.” I pointed out that the wedding was at a different location of the property. Hacienda Del Sol is one of my favorite places to eat. The Terrazzo Lounge ambiance was nice with live piano and a singer, and the cocktails were delicious. But the rest of the experience fell short this time. The bottom part of the tortillas in the Chicken Enchiladas couldn't be cut with a knife. (The chef did comp dessert.)
