We love the Kava bar!! The best new spot in town. The owner and bartenders are amazing, friendly and love good music like we do! The guava kava bowl and white rabbit drinks are my go to. My husband and I enjoy playing music there when we can and EDM nights.

Great in theory and nice place but music is awful and loud- not a place to hang to study or to play board games with friends (which they do have) unless you love death metal (?) I couldn’t tell what the screaming was about. Kava doesn’t taste good but it isn’t supposed to- had a plain kava single shot and found it relaxing. Would be cautious with kratom as it works on opioid receptors and can be addictive from what I have read.

Located in an old auto shop and the parking is terrible. It was my first time trying kava and kratom. They were very knowledgeable and helpful with selecting our beverages. I did feel a slight buzz after a few drinks and definitely social. The next day my head was still pretty fuzzy and left felt 'off'. Might try again.

After a long flight and bus ride from Toledo, my nerves were shot. I had my Uber driver take me straight here. The staff was welcoming and the kava was smooth. They didn't even mind my luggage sitting around.

I can't speak much to atmosphere as I visited midday druring week with no one in the cafe but staff member. Ordered a Kava tea that was very very strong and while not particularly tasty (which usually isn't the point with drinking Kava), did it's job of providing stress relief and relaxation. I did find the place to be over priced for tea blends that one could likely recreate at home with the right products and tools.

Amazing, beautiful drinks & the owner is such a sweet lady! This is a great place to socialize, play darts even, or you can bring your laptop and get some work done. The baristas immediately greet you when you walk in and they take your order promptly. Definitely one of the best spots in Tucson.Kid-friendliness: There’s plenty of room to sit with your kid on one of the couches while you enjoy a non-alcoholic, plant medicine beverage!

They were better when they opened. Now they have the apathy that an established place can produce. Currently, I see way more kratom sold than kava. As other reviews have noted, you have to yell at the barista to order. Count your change, I've ordered the same thing 3x...got 3 different bills?!?Vegetarian options: Kava is the ultimate vegetarian option... it's a root, that's it.Kid-friendliness: Patrons and owners promote kid friendlyParking: 5-7 spots in front, plus plenty of nearby streetWheelchair accessibility: 1st levelDietary restrictions: The kava tenders will make your drink to order. If an item is on the menu that you can't do, they gladly remove it.

I really enjoyed the Kava and Kratom drinks. Unfortunately, this will be the last visit. This is the fourth time now that either one of the “baristas” or business owners doesn’t notice me standing at the counter despite the bell chime at the door. Too busy gossiping with patrons on the other side of the room to take notice of walk ins. A simple “hey, I’ll be right with you” would make a difference. It’s happened to a friend of mine too on multiple occasions. Really disappointing, especially after paying $10 - $15 on a drink. If you are hard of hearing or easily distracted, maybe have a bell on the counter too? Just a suggestion.
