Finally got a chance to order lunch at the overlook. The building is getting a lot of updates. Lunch was great and service as always was great. The options for the burger were pretty amazing, eg pineapple and teriyaki. I had the veggie burger and sweet potato fries and both were very good. Views awesome

Vegetarian options: They have a veggie Burger option with many add-ons available. There are four salads which could be made vegetarian or vegan.

Went for lunch with two friends and we weren’t disappointed. 4stars because they’re undergoing construction and it was confusing on how to get in but I’m sure that will be resolved with renovation. We started with the artichoke dip and it was very good. Large portion with good amount of tortillas chips.
I had the cheeseburger. I ordered medium (pink center) and it came medium well so you may want to order medium rare for medium. I also ordered grilled onions but they made it too salty so I scraped them off and I give the burger 4/5 stars. My friend ordered the Cobb Salad that was fresh and had a lot of chicken overall it was tasty and she’d order it again.
The hit was the Cod Po’boy.
The Cod was thick and crispy. Very tasty.
Our server was wonderful and very attentive to our needs. Beautiful view of the golf course. Solid 4 with potential for a 5.

Expecting a more traditional brunch buffet, we were surprised that the Sunday brunch is really an all you a can eat item option priced at $19.95 which includes beverages. While we never saw a printed list of the items available for the "brunch," our server did relay the information orally and people could choose made to order omelets or eggs, bacon and sausage, toast, biscuits & gravy, fruit, and pastries. The food was served piecemeal as items were prepared separately by the kitchen. Generally, the food was hot and tasty. Orders for second helpings were taken when asked. Our waiter was friendly and did a good job handling our large group. I think we would look for a more traditional brunch before returning to The Overlook. There are many other better options for a $20 breakfast in the Tucson area.

The place has a musty smell, and the tables were always sticky and dirty.

Our community has been attending the Friday Night Dinners for several months. The food has been good and the staff has worked hard to accommodate our residents, particularly during the pandemic. Highly recommend giving The Overlook a try for either a night out or a group event George
