Great food and atmosphere. It’s great to go somewhere local and get a taste of Louisiana! It’s been a long time since I’ve had gumbo, and it didn’t disappoint. And the hush puppies were great and we ended up getting an extra order. I look forward to trying more of the menu!
We stopped in yesterday for the first time and cant believe what we've been missing!! The chargrilled oysters? Incredible price and SO good!! Buy your own platter, lol. Hushpuppies? Best I've ever tasted. Whatever the hell magic they put in those white cheddar grits (shrimp and grits)? I dont know, but I could eat them until I die. We will be back again soon!!
This is definitely one of the top culinary experiences I've had in tucson! as a fat man, I take my food seriously and (besides the hyped up collard greens) I had the best meal I've had in awhile! food came out quick, and hot, our glasses stayed filled and the server, Kelsey, had a great attitude. the Brussel Spourts were perfect and came out quick, the cornbread was delicious (drip some of the Brussel sprout hotsauce on it) and the gumbo was rich and flavorful and the hushpuppies...read full review
