The calamari as an appetizer was delicious. Probably the best calamari I've ever had. I had the grilled bass and I thought it was just OK. The side of mushrooms were very salty. Everyone else loved their entrée.
As expected the food and drinks were very good. However, there must have been a problem in the kitchen. They opened at 5:00 pm and we had reservation for (and arrived) at 5:15 pm with plans to see a concert starting at 7:00 pm a 20 minute drive from Tito and Pep's. We did not receive our main course until 6:20, more than an hour after being seated. Even then we had to tell the host that if we did not receive it by 6:30 pm we would need to leave for our concert. No explanation...
The menu may be smaller than many but offerings varied enough for all tastes. Always perfectly prepared. Tried the radicchio and gem salad which was wonderful though I thought a bit large for an appetizer! The chicken special is always a great choice. New desserts menu and after dinner drinks: loved the cowboy coffee—- quite the tasty surprise. And you can't beat the care given by the entire staff... will make you want to come back again and again
