Transplant Detroit Style Pizza

So i don't think i have ever eaten Detroit style Pizza. That said whatever Transplant has is freaking good (could be Scandinavian style for all i care.). I just had lunch there. Pizza was killer. The dough is soft but the cheese is crispy/crusty so its a perfect balance. I got a small order of the double down pepperoni and a fountain soda for $13! The slice is not huge but it is thick so it is very filling. Hell of a good value for the money in the current messed up economy we are all living in. What when a #3 Value meal at McDonalds costs $18! Oh and the staff is super friendly and grateful for your business. Ill be going back for sure.

Good pizza! Ordered a deep dish and it was solid. Ordering was smooth and easy. But most of all the customer service was excellent from the crew and especially the manager. Will come back again.

They used to have the best pizza in town, it was a spicy pickle Detroit style. I have not been back since they got rid of it nor will I until they get it back, such a shame. It truly was the best item on their menu. I will absolutely change my rating once they get that item back

Pizza was delicious. Crust was crunchy and dough was perfect. Could have used a little more cheese and sauce for my taste to make it less dry. Main reason for 4 stars is it is a bit pricy -$27.98 for large, including tip and discount; military discount provided was appreciated. The large was shared between 2 adults. We didn’t get any drinks/alcohol, but they seemed to have a good selection.

We love this place! Not sure why it doesn’t have better reviews. It is pretty expensive for a pizza in Tucson but it makes up for it by being hearty and filling. The wings are crispy, the ranch is heavenly, and the pizza edges are perfectly crispy. We usually do takeout but the atmosphere is clean, bright, and there’s dog-friendly outdoor seating. My only suggestion is to offer more veggie-heavy pizza options.

Had a medium pizza and wings. Was delish! What made the visit even better was Paul. He was so informative and had great customer service! Cherry on top, sat at the craft side of the restaurant and played some old school Mario games. Only thing I would change is the seating layout and chairs and bar stools. not the most comfortable powder coated metal chairs. But I'll definitely be back to try the sandwiches!

Friendly team. Good flavor. Huge portions. Decent price.

First time having Detroit style pizza, decided to try something new... It was more like cheezy bread than traditional pizza. Not sure I'm a fan, I definitely prefer brick oven thin crust to this style, but I can't appreciate quality.

If you're a fan of this style or want to try it I would definitely recommend, if not I would pass.

The pizza was OK. It does have the Detroit fluffy rectangle presentation. The seasoning was good. The service is self-service. There was plenty of seating. A few of the tables in the back of the restaurant had some older style game systems. The bar area is set-up as if there is something that happens in the evening but we were there for lunch.

Terrible customer service. If you order food from a delivery app they will have the driver fill up the drinks. Unsanitary. Staff isn’t friendly or attentive.
