Went for lunch at 12:30 today, over half of the restaurant was reserved.i counted 16 empty but reserved tables and more reserved with people sitting at them. It's bad business to have over half the restaurant reserved for people who will stay for the whole game. Meanwhile they sent away walk-ins who won't stay that long. You'd make more money turning the tables over. Drove twenty minutes only to get turned away at 12:30. Not a smart business move.
I do like the food and the service is good too, but today left a bad impression.

We chose to sit outside (inside is super noisy) and was told by the hostess, pick anywhere and he’d be right out with menus. Ten minutes later no menus, have to ask another hostess. Twenty minutes after ordering multiple tables who sat down and ordered after us had their food while we were still not served. The waitress was sweet and tried, but at the mercy of bad service elsewhere in the restaurant it was disappointing all around. Food was meh,

Went today for lunch. My daughter’s burger was awesome, my shrimp tacos perfect. The crab cakes were burnt on the bottom. Price on menu says 14.00 charged 17.50.
This was our first time visiting and it was great. We sat on the patio and with the misters and portable AC units, it was more than comfortable.

This place is fantastic. Made my third visit today. My server was Lauren, probably the best server I have had in 10 years of dining in Tucson. Attentive and personable - on the ball. Thanks, Lauren for enhancing my Trident experience. The food is delicious and served in large portions. Today I had a house salad for starters. Then the Baked Alaskan Cod Tacos. They are topped with a tasty Coleslaw and Salsa on the side - packed with the cod and overflowing with slaw - a great combo. Two were plenty for me. For dessert, the Churros topped with Ice Cream with drizzles of strawberry and caramel. Highly recommend all of these dishes. From my past visits, my favorites have been the Oysters on the half shell and the Maryland Crab Cakes. Overall, the best seafood that I've found in Tucson. Plus they have Burgers, Sandwiches, a Bar area, and big screens with sports. Seating inside and a patio with air and misters. If I lived in Tucson, I would eat here at least weekly. Unfortunately for me, I live a couple of hours away. But, I will be here as often as possible.

Food and service here is usually pretty good. However, finding that management had reserved at least half of all their tables scattered throughout the place was a surprise when we arrived since they don't take reservations. The place was half empty due to the reserved tables. Speedway location does the same thing. So if you want to go watch the big game you might want to think twice before going to Trident because they apparently don't care about turning away paying customers from empty tables.

Went to watch Wildcat Basketball game and they stopped happy hour pricing!! Regulars all around were not happy!! Waitress said they did that because of the game. That is a very bad business practice. You lost loyal customers to make a buck. Better restaurant exist in Tucson!!!
