Decent. Not as good as the location on Valencia by the airport. Smoothies and wraps are consistently worse. Didn’t bother me enough to leave a review until they decided to start asking for tips IN THE DRIVE THRU. Nobody, and I mean nobody wants a card reader jammed in their face in a drive thru. Just take my card and swipe it like every other drive thru. Having to leave a tip before the food is made is extortion tactics
Edit 1: The death of the triple berry oat smoothie is sad.
Edit 2: Don’t come at night, the service sucks and only 1 employee was taking and making all the orders. The other employee was too busy making out with her boyfriend.
Edit 3: Now only 3 flavors of chips are offered. Baked lays, cheddar SunChips, and Salt & Vinegar. Also a wrap and smoothie costing $15 is absurd.

As a local resident, I’m so glad to have Tropical Smoothie Cafe in the area! There aren’t many options for smoothies or healthy snacks nearby, so this place has been a refreshing and much-needed addition. Every time we visit, the service is quick, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating.
My go-to order is the Blimey Limey smoothie paired with a bag of chips—such a perfect combo! The smoothies are consistently delicious and made with fresh ingredients, making it a treat I feel good about enjoying. The inside of the cafe is always clean, well-organized, and welcoming, which makes it a nice spot to stop in when we’re not grabbing our order to-go.
The only downside I’ve noticed is the lack of size options for their smoothies. It would be great to have the flexibility to choose a smaller or medium size, depending on my appetite or mood. Having just one size feels a bit limiting, especially for those who may want a lighter snack or are trying the cafe for the first time.
That said, Tropical Smoothie Cafe is still a fantastic spot that we’ll continue to visit often. It’s a wonderful addition to the community, and I appreciate having such a convenient and healthy option close to home!

The location on old vail is the worst, all these girls do is talk to each other rather than making the food when you order, my average wait time is always 10-15 minutes even when no one is in the restaurant because they would rather socialize than work, I am done coming here I’ll just go elsewhere

My food was absolutely delicious. I ordered an Acai bowl and southwest wrap. The only thing that needed improvement was the wait time. I waited more than 20 minutes for my food.

The wait time was 8 minutes to get order. There was only one car ahead of us. They were already sitting at the window. She got 2 smoothies. And she waited, and waited. Girl there, said only 5 minutes. But only received the smoothie. Then still has to wait a other 3 minutes more for the quesadilla.I timed it because we had just enough time. Were late, thankfully we were not penalized.

I hate writing reviews, but I feel at the point I have to say something. the workers are great, i’ve never had a problem with them, they’re just really busy, but that’s just business. However, I received an açaí bowl that I paid $13 for and I was given a açaí soup with warm fruit and a glob of peanut butter. it didn’t even have the granola that comes with it. I was told to come back in after I reluctantly called, I don’t like making a fuss if I can just eat it, but I genuinely couldn’t. The (very nice) assistant manager told me to come back in for a refund, but I was going into work and couldn’t so she told me to come back in the next day, I did. I waited maybe around 20-25 mins for help because they were busy, it was no big deal, it happens. The (very very sweet) manager I think was just hired so she wasn’t sure how to do a refund and said to come back the following day. honestly $13 is a lot but i’m not gonna break my back to get it back, it was more of the principle that I was given a inedible meal that someone made (i’m not sure who) and decided it was okay to send that out. I am in food service so I know how it goes, but you should never hand out food in that condition. I hope this location digs deeper into this, the people there are very sweet and helpful, it just seems like they don’t have a lot of good direction.

I’ve visited 4 times for smoothies. One was great, two barely palatable and the last neither myself or friend could drink it tasted so awful. So I threw out an entire $9 smoothie. That’s right, it cost $9. Anyway three strikes for me, I’ll take my money elsewhere.
My first impressions were that all of the food and smoothies are grossly overpriced especially compared to all the food places surrounding it. When I ordered my food I tried to order a combo to save money and the staff were so incompetent that they neither offered me the combo discount nor did they know how to do it because when I asked if I saved any money because of the combo the girl looks so confused but said yes I saved money even though the total was a total without any discounts. If this place is going to stay here they need to lower their prices everywhere else is super super busy and this place was dead today

Visited this location on April 19, 2024. I was charged double what I should have paid. The "manager' of the store said he issued a refund to my credit card, but when I checked my credit card online, the only transaction that was posted was the original charge. The refund was never posted.
