Heard about this place on "Check Please!" Unique! I've only had jackfruit on one other occasion, I think. This al pastor tasted as good as one could ask for. The green corn tamale was a bit stringy, but very good nonetheless. Horchata was perfectly spiced - one of the best!

Fantastic food. And it's vegetarian? Crazy! With food this good so needs meat?!?I had potato, my wife a "barbacoa" made from jackfruit. So creative, so good!Couple of coffee drinks, both super tasty. We'll be back.

If you’re vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, or just in general enjoy Hispanic and Caribbean flavors, then I highly recommend Tumerico in Tucson. The Cuban Tacos were fabulous! They were served with rice and refried black beans and every item on the plate packed a serious flavor punch. If they sold that cilantro sauce in liters, I’d buy it.For dessert, I was so excited when I saw vegan, gluten-free, sea-salted chocolate chip cookies! That cookie was so good! I had to exercise serious self-control not to buy out the remainder and take them home with me. The sweet to salty ratio was just right.Tumerico’s is an old house, a small place with indoor and outdoor dining. I appreciate that they allow patrons to bring their own alcohol. The service is outstanding. I didn’t get to try coffee, but on my next visit to Tucson it will be one of the first things I do.

Absolutely delicious!! The Cuban tacos were so full of flavor. They also have a wonderful assortment of specialty drinks. The service was super friendly and helpful. The ambience is fun, especially with the outdoor patio. I'd love to return here multiple times to try more menu items.Vegetarian options: The entire menu is either vegetarian or vegan.

This place absolutely lives up to the hype. Homestyle Mexican food with the friendliest staff. I don't have anything else to say than what has already been said. If this has always been on your "to go" list, please make time to visit and be expected to leave full :^)Vegetarian options: All (if not most) vegan menu!

I love this place. It's very casual and no reservations so we went fairly early for dinner. We probably arrived at about 5:15 and I was glad we did as it filled up very quickly after we ordered. They do have both indoor and outdoor seating but it was cold and so everyone wanted indoors. The staff is uber sweet and helpful. They'll tell you all about the menu and the levels of spice. Everything is vegan or vegetarian. There were four of us. Two ordered tamales and I ordered the pastor tacos. Their jackfruit is amazing. Rice is cooked to perfection and their guacamole is great. This is a sister restaurant to La chaiteria and I actually prefer the ambience there a bit more but would definitely recommend!!

We were welcomed warmly and the waitress was very kind in explaining the menu and making recommendations. I was skeptical about the vegan food but it was SO GOOD! More flavorful than any other Mexican-style food I've tried and very fast service. Would strongly recommend giving it a try!Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan or vegetarian. Many dishes include jackfruit, which has a very neutral taste that absorbs the other spices/flavors.Dietary restrictions: Very vegan/vegetarian friendly but enjoyable for meat-eaters as well.

Good thing they have two locations. They have what everyone wants and they get busy.Service was wonderful. The person at the counter was incredibly helpful and thorough and giving us a breakdown of what's offered and available as well as some recommendations. Based on the description we went for the Al Pastore burrito, jackfruit tamales, and the ropa verde. Perfect descriptions. My favorite was the Al Pastor, the perfect spicy! The tamale was maybe the best vegan tamale I've ever had. The Ropa Verde was too sweet for me. I loved the shredded jackfruit & mushroom combo but the cilantro sauce is too sweet for my preference.Ambiance is very casual. Indoor & outdoor seating. Street parking. Pay at counter.

The jackfruit burrito is my favorite. It’s a huge portion so I always split.
