ordered a steak wrap for my son and he couldn't eat it. the bread was burnt and the sauce or the meat tasted weird. thus is not the first time we ordered from Urban. However this is the first time we had this issue

The restaurant had great decor and feels really clean. I paid $51 that came with a jumbo gyro sandwich, 4 dolomades, 4 meat pockets, an order of falafels the size of eyeballs, and 2 pieces of baklava.
I was disappointed in the gyro sandwich bc it had way too much sauce on it to compensate for the dry lamb. Next, the minced meat pockets were not good at all. $13 for 4 meat pockets that looked like 2 tablespoons were divided between the 4 pockets. The meat was also dry, as well as the pocket it came in. The baklava was delicious, the dolomades were served cold, which wasn't my personal preference, and the falafels were good but very small.
Overall, I would give this place another try, and try something different. I hope they learn from these critiques and growing pains.

really good but really expensive. but doesn't stop me coming back. park at nearby garage on 5th Street and if you get back fast enough it will only be $1
update march 2024: my usual order is the jumbo chicken shawarma sandwich and fries which comes out to about $19. im pretty skinny and it's usually just enough to satisfy my hunger. but today I went and the chicken sandwich was actually jumbo. like, it was enough to feed me on its own. and it's still $14, the same price as always. so I don't know if they updated the sizes or ive just been getting scammed with a regular size sandwich this whole time until now, but if this sizing continues I will say it's really not even expensive.

The solidarity between employees and vibe of goodwill is strong at this location. Was rewarded for my patience after entitled college brats came in, meanwhile the cooks were obviously working tirelessly and swiftly in the open kitchen banging out gyros and shawarmas like nobody's business. I appreciate their kindness, work ethic, their awareness and strength and of course their super tasty food. This is a heartwarming spot if you want to feel at home and be greeted with good service, great food and down to earth atmosphere. Patience is a virtue for those who want good food and good service especially when they are busy. Gratitude to the staff...they are human beings.
