My whole immediate family of 12 went on Friday, June 13th for an early Father’s Day dinner, and it was extremely disappointing.! My son and son-in-law both ordered the cheese wheel and we are expecting this big show like we were told and literally the guy that was the “Cheese wheel operator“ said “who’s getting the cheese wheel?” With No enthusiasm, No show, No creamy cheese like they show on their websites little videos, it was so disappointing! Then the guy comes back to our table asking if any of us had the lighter that he used to light the cheese wheel. All of our pasta was extremely dry, even the ones that were tossed around in an actual wheel of cheese. The calamari tasted like breaded onion rings, my son and his wife also ordered a pizza that they sent back because they said it tasted like metal. Then server had to say “I don’t understand how it could taste like metal” instead of just saying something like “I apologize, can I get you something else?”All that said it was an extremely bad experience there, then it got worse when I called and spoke to the GM Darren. That evening I called and told Darren everything that happened, he offered me a gift card and I told him that my husband would probably not want to go back that I wanted a refund, then he asked me to think about it, talk it over with my husband and to give him a call on Monday. I called him Monday to let him know that I wanted my refund per our conversation on Friday. He then tried to refund me $22 when my bill was over $80 and then blamed it on their point of sale machine “TOAST” that it was not letting him refund any more than that and that he was gonna work on it all night and get back to me. I called on Tuesday and Darren gave me the run around and said that he was still working on the refund and that the money would be back in my account by 2:00 pm and of course it wasn’t . I called on Wednesday and spoke to the assistant manager Cass, told her exactly what had been happening and she told me he should’ve given me my entire amount back and that he’s not a really good general manager, and that she was going to send an email to the owners and CC Darren in the emails as well stating that I need to get my money back. I called them back again on Saturday, June 21, twice and both times told that neither manager was there for me to speak with. The gentleman that answered the phone was very polite and when I asked for the corporate phone number he got it for me. I will call them Monday morning to get this ongoing issue for over a week finally resolved.

We went for the cheese wheel… it was underwhelming at most. Not at all what was advertised or shown in photos online. Not only was the “show” not a show at all but the taste… the taste was completely off. I love alfredo, it is my favorite pasta but this was not it & neither was the one off the menu. It was awful. Rather have made it at home. Especially for the cost of the “experience of the flaming cheese wheel”. My advice save your money and go to the other location in Dove Mt, way better! Never been disappointed when eating at that location. Overall, I wouldn’t go back to the Swan location. I will say the staff was nice but that doesn’t make up for the subpar food.

Good outdoor patio.

Food was good but portions were small for the value... Staff was friendly, but service was a bit slow on a Saturday night.

My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary and everything was amazing. The food and service was excellent. We had the cheese wheel alfredo, wood fire bread, calamari, and cannolis. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be back. Support local ♥️

I was there for an early dinner and I stayed there for a couple hours to catch up with a friend. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. I had pizza and my friend ordered pasta, both of us were happy with our orders.

We came without a reservation and got seated right away. The service was excellent, and everyone was nice. The food was all very good and came out quick, it's just a little expensive especially if you have a large party. Would come again and definitely recommend the dessert baked cookie!

I took my mom here for lunch and the food was borderline inedible. The service itself was great and the atmosphere felt inviting with cooler earth tones and stereotypical Italian music. We ordered the marsala and picatta, neither of which took too long to get to the table, but both were more than disappointing. The picatta was a curdled mess of lemon juice that was broken before it ever hit the plate, and the marsala was practically a noodle soup with exactly five slices of mushroom throughout. On a positive note, the chicken and noodles on both plates were cooked perfectly, though that should be a given with any $25 entrée. We were both starving, so we ate anyway, and by the end of the meal my plate was a cold and watery grave for my hopes of finding another decent Italian joint around midtown.

My wife and I have been to the Oro Valley location and only had great experiences, so we decided to try the Swan location. We were in the area with a family member and were excited to have her try a new place.

We arrived at the restaurant approximately 2 and 1/2 hours before closing time. We passed a party of 4-6 leaving as we walked in with our party of 3.

When we approached the hostess (older lady with blue eyes, unfortunately didn't catch her name) she just stared at us. My wife told her, "party of three" to get the conversation started, which is when she gave a very clear and judgy "up-down" look at us.

None of us were dressed inappropriately, all of us were clean, and we were being friendly. I honestly don't know what she was looking at, but she *obviously* was prejudiced against something.

She pretty coldly asked us if we had a reservation, which has NEVER happened Oro Valley location, but we told her no. Then, she proceeded to just stare at us.

She did not offer us a wait time (people were actively leaving and they were open another 2 and 1/2 hours), she didn't offer any sympathy/apology, nor any suggestions.

She could AT LEAST have said they were packed with reservations until the end of the night, but given a business card so we could call ahead next time, or said sorry, or something. Instead she just stared us into leaving.

I will NEVER go back to this restaurant! It is difficult to nuance into words the way she was staring and made us feel, but it was not pleasant at all. It felt very much like profiling.

Our cousin that we were trying to take to dinner is a refugee from Mexico (in fact, all three of us are Hispanic) and this was her first ever experience at an Italian restaurant. Instead of a lovely Italian dinner, we left wondering if we were turned down over racism or some other rude profiling.

I am very disheartened because I really love the other location; they are always a pleasure.

I will not be returning, and honestly, I kind of don't want to support the other location anymore now. I've never been made to feel that badly when trying to give my money for someone's business.

All three of us ladies are perfectly capable of cooking pizza or pasta at home or going elsewhere. We were trying to go for atmosphere and an easy evening. Instead, we were made to feel very badly for wanting to eat at a restaurant. I have been to 5 star restaurants; you are not that fancy, Vero Amore.
