This could be Tucson's best local business!
Food is 10/10
Bakery 10/10
Staff 10/10
I was recommended to come here by their employee Joey. After looking the place up, we had to try it.
Check out the website, and believe it or not, it is even better in person.
Super nice people and the food is fantastic. We got a little of everything. Challa, burrito, French toast and a box of goodies to take home.
Thank you for your service 🥖🧁🌯🥐☕️
I've been going to this place for years. The pastries are excellent and they have the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. I basically always get a breakfast burrito or the tacos. The owners are lovely people. Highly recommend!
Been coming here for quite a few months almost a year now the service is somewhat spotty, but now I know why this company will never grow. It’s because they will always defend the people that work for them rather than make it right for a customer I was standing in line for about 2 to 4 minutes. Five people working behind the counter didn’t notice me and another person and two other people behind me Kept letting us all stand there. One person cut in front of me went right to the register they jumped on to help her and I said hey, do you want to help? The other people have been waiting to be helped and one of the customer one of the employees starts to mouth off to us that we’re standing in the wrong spot and we’d be happy to help you if you were standing in the right spot so yeah they lost my Income from now on and anybody I talk to I will tell to stay away
One of the best in Tucson, with delicious pastries.
First time in there today, got a ginger snap cookie, lemon butter cookie, chocolate chip cookie, and two mini pies (peach and blueberry). The staff was very nice and efficient. Tried a ginger snap otw home and it was insanely good! Also the prices are unmatched, especially in Oro Valley. Will be returning and definitely wanna try lunch here.
Unfortunately, Village Bakehouse does not follow simple directions. I ordered a white cream cheese frosted cake with purple decorations because I was told they can not color cream cheese frosting and if I wanted purple all the decorations would be in buttercream. I was fine with that. What I was stuck with was an ALL WHITE CAKE. (what was the point of using white buttercream decorations??? when the entire point of using the buttercream was to be able to color it purple). Not only was the cake all white. the pathetic purple writing was literally coming over and off the side of the cake. this is the 2nd cake they failed on. I thought I would give them a second chance, afterall, everyone has a bad day, but lesson learned. They don't listen and they don't care. They charged me full price anyways. I had no choice but to take the cake as I was on my way to the party. Do not order anything custom from them.
Unbelievable charged me $2 extra because I wanted a Crescent on my sandwich instead of their bread. But they refuse to give me the bread. The old woman that runs this place STOP price gouging people. $13 for a sandwich and they refuse to give you chips with it come on. Sandwich wasn't bad but overpriced. Their Bakery is ridiculously overpriced. This is the first time I came in here if they would lower the prices or at least give you chips or even potatoes with your sandwiches I might come back.

I'm 67 years old. I've visited many bakeries. As far as I'm concerned, Village Bakehouse is the ONLY bakery. The cakes and baked goods are unbelievably delicious and the sandwiches are outstanding. The service is quite good. Try the Turkey and Brie Panini.

NEVER order a cake with whipped cream frosting. Apparently, they do not have the ability to decorate a cake of this sophistication. If it isn’t buttercream-it is impossible to make festive. I ordered a Birthday Cake and paid more than any cake I’ve ever purchased. All I got was chocolate shavings on a white cake. Anyone familiar with The Office will know what I’m talking about. I asked for colorful - I wish I could post the picture.

The “Cranberry Apple “ Pie is exaggerating good, all there pies are great. This one is very light and the perfect blend of Sweet and Tart. The Baker deserves to be recognized for this delicious blend. I would definitely recommend this pie 100%
To right a review , just for Pie I can’t express how much you would enjoy.

Picked up a few pastries. As always, they were fantastic. Everyone in the family gobled them down.
