I almost never write reviews but we were so impressed with these cakes I would like to add a compliment. We visited Tucson for 2 birthdays in my family. I chose this bakery off of reviews and we were very impressed. 2 beautiful cakes. Excellent NY style cheesecake and really chocolately cake with ganache frosting. Ready on time and had correct messages written on them (which isn't something that can be taken for granted these days). Thank you guys!

Village Bakehouse catered our daughters wedding at Glover Ranch last night. They delivered the cake and desserts, and even help to get it all set up! Everything that was ordered was fantastic! Might be my new favorite place to eat in the area. Stopped here for breakfast and pastries and everything was phenomenal. The inside is TINY and its a popular place, so be prepared to wait and/or take things home to eat....but trust me, it's worth it!
So my birthday is coming up and I am very particular when it comes to the type of cake I like. I did a search on Google and this placed popped up. It's right by my house, so I decided to take a drive over.Got there and the place was packed(which I get being a Sunday and brunch time). I am a new customer so I wait in line where it says "Line Forms here", waited as the line moved. The woman before me got her turn to be assisted and as I waited for it to be my turn there was a woman who came in after me and while we both waited one of the staff behind the counter started helping her and completely skipped over me.(?!?!?!). I am pretty hard not too notice, so I walked out, if you can't make a good first impression on a new customer than don't bother going here.

We eat breakfast here usually a couple of weekends a month. The baked goods are delicious. The breakfast potatoes are pretty yummy when you get them with onions and peppers. It's always crowded and it's sometimes hard to get a table. The outside covered patio area is lovely about nine months of the year, but pretty miserable the other three. You stand in line at a counter to order, and the line for that can be long, but the weight staff is usually quite efficient and the line moves pretty quickly. For many years, we have gotten one to two dozen pies here to serve at our engineering business on Pi Day. Their pies are fabulous. Especially recommend the triple berry. Serve it a little warm with some vanilla ice cream. I've also had them do some custom cakes for me for baby showers, and they were always both beautifully done and yummy to eat. Highly recommend Village Bakehouse!!!
