Amazing east coast style Italian deli. The panini was life-changing and Leah at the counter was so sweet and helpful! Affordable for the super quality you get!
Great calzones and the lobster tail pastries are awesome!
I can’t say enough great things about an Eggplant parmigiana sandwich with fresh mozzarella delivered. Holy Toledo it is the BEST EVER.. I’m new to Arizona from South Florida.. It easily qualifies for 100 stars ⭐️. If you are debating … debate no longer. It is definitely a Win~Win in every way!
Went for first time, prices differant than seen ,dinner$$$ big portion eggplant not fresh, salty. Outdated plastic glasses, for drinks,No A/C
I tried to call about a bread I was looking for could not get an answer by phone or find an email to go through
Wonderful Sfogliatella! Worth the drive from the foothills!
Returning back to Vero's Real Italian Bakery was such a pleasure. I have been away for many years, and it was wonderful to see that the exceptional quality and warm hospitality remain unchanged. I had the pleasure of dining at Vero's Bakery last week, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The culinary delights began with the exquisite antipasto salad, followed by the phenomenal bruschetta. Fresh tomatoes, onions, and basil, expertly combined and drizzled with oil, made for a truly satisfying appetizer. The ricotta cheese croquettes were divine, and the traditional chickpea fritter was out of this world. The service was impeccable, with attentive waitresses ensuring our every need was met. Their professionalism and warm smiles added to the welcoming atmosphere. The desserts were equally impressive. The " Cartocci," filled with ricotta & mini chocolate chips, transported me back to my time living in Sicily. It was truly delicious. What made the experience even more special was Seeing Rose and Viro as always , welcoming, and made us feel like part of the family. Their dedication to providing exceptional cuisine and hospitality is evident in every aspect of the bakery. In conclusion, Vero's Bakery in Tucson, Arizona, is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking exceptional Italian cuisine and warm hospitality. I look forward to returning as a regular customer. I'm from NYC and got great fresh Italian seeded bread, cookies and pastries. I loved everything . The pistachio cookies were excellent. I can't wait to go back and try the fish fry and get more goodies for the holidays. The service was very good too!

Long-time customer. Won't be going back.
Viro's had wonderful staff, a cozy vibe, and decent food. But then unwelcoming political signs started appeared on their property including right next to the Viro's sign itself.
If the owners didn't put up those signs, maybe they can take them down before the election? Or put up welcoming material to counteract them. Until then, farewell Viro's.

The food was great but a little on the high $ side for lunch. Initially, it was a little warm inside, but then the a/c came on, which greatly improved the experience.
