I enjoyed my coffee and the service today. They put a honey/cayenne syrup in my drip coffee. I’ve never had anything like that before. It was really good. I’ll definitely be back!
Delicious coconut latte and blueberry scone. Viva coffee never disappoints! Family friendly relaxing place!
Obviously this is a fake review. But I’ll just say, it was hard to enjoy my coffee because the owner’s politics are so in your face. I really don’t need my coffee shop to force their beliefs on me in the guise of free speech (while also hating your opinions and calling everything close to critical fake). Although you won’t believe I even went to Viva AND live in Tucson, I won’t be coming back.
the absolute best iced chai i’ve ever had! i ask for it with a little cayenne shaken in. the baked goods are also super yummy! the staff is very friendly and kind. overall, a great spot!
We love this coffee shop so much! We love how Patriotic they are and how much they back up the Blue. We love their Christian and conservative environment! Clean with lots of sitting. There is a kids section for kids, and they have story time in Thursdays. We enjoy all their coffee and the stamp cards help! For those complaining about prices, this is a quality coffee what do you expect!
These people can't handle bad feedback their business ethic sucks.Avoid this business at all cost anyone who supports our schools shouldn't do business here because the owner feels the need to threaten a school principal because the child had covid and the school followed policy by sending the kid home to self quarantine..Who ever the lady is who picks up the phone said it's fake news when the court documents say charges are still pending ? I don't think trespassing is gonna drop since none of y'all had any business walking up to that school.. treating to tie up a school principal is completely unacceptable.
Kelly and his family run one of the BEST coffee shops in Arizona! Their coffee is delicious and their patriotic presence in the community is a breath of fresh air. Whether you’re a local or visiting from out of town, put Viva Coffee House at the top of your list and stop in to say hi.
Delicious coffee, great house-made desserts and amazing service. Its common to see all types of people from different places meeting here- exchanging ideas, discussing books, sharing recipes.. its truly a gem of the community.
The coffee is way better than Starbucks (and I love Starbucks). They have gluten/dairy free muffins/brownies which are amazing. They have milk alternatives which is great for me since I’m allergic to milk. I’d give them a 5 star for food and drinks! The 3 stars is because the prices and drinks vary from day to day. My son picked me up a coffee every day for a week and the prices change each time. I went in and told them I got charged almost $12 the day before for a $2.95 brownie and a latte which didn’t seem right at all and the lady said oh well she must have charged you wrong… oh well and then walked away. My son had just taken my credit card and ordered for me so I didn’t realize until I checked my purchase amount later that evening that I was charged so much. Sometimes the drinks are steaming hot and sometimes cold. They taste good either way, but confused as how the temps change depending on the barista. We also found out they have punch cards which is cool but nobody told us until after we had purchased about 10 coffees. We are a little disappointed that we get no credit for buying 2 coffees a day for almost a week…I very much recommend Viva, but keep an eye on the prices. ;)Edit- Ok I returned again and this time I got a raw muffin… they said there was nothing they could do about it so I sat at a table for 10 minutes waiting for my husband to finish his coffee with my raw muffin and finally took it home and finished baking it… so I’m going to have to take back my praise and 5 star review for the food. So sad because this place is so close and I really wanted to have coffee dates with friends/family there and had to take back my recommendation…
Great atmosphere. Great coffee. Great staff. Looking forward to attending some of the events with the nationally-known people that are waking people up and helping to make positive changes in our country.

We drove 30 min to support this local small business that is very pro active in the community supporting freedom and family values. I had the Carmel Cordado and almond poppy bread - both very very delicious Very nice welcoming atmosphere with unique consignments. The only suggestion I would have is to fix the first bathroom door handle as it cannot be locked from the inside and this makes it very awkward to be in there while being in fear that someone may enter at any time! Other than that easy fix everything was great!
We went here to support a local place and were excited to try their tasty drinks. However, much to our shock, the girl wanted to charge us 50 cents to have non-fat milk instead of whole. We thought maybe she was thinking we wanted a milk alternative. Nope, she said we would get up-charged for good 'ole cows milk. I think not only was it shocking that we got up-charged for what we thought was part of the cost of the drink (the drink did say it came with milk), but the girl was extremely rude about it. No explanation, just "It's 50 cents because you don't want whole milk." We are all about supporting local, but we are not about supporting places who price gouge and then have a bad attitude to boot. Sorry Viva, we wanted to love you.
I stopped in on small business Saturday to show support. Some businesses are small for a reason. Both my friend and I were very disappointed in the coffee and the service. It's hard to decide which was worse but I guess I would have to go with the coffee itself. Best to avoid.
I asked the barista for a recommendation and got a vanilla scone with an iced Mexican mocha. Both were excellent. Worth the drive.
I met a colleague here on a weekday, around lunch. It was like walking back in time. The place was filled with customers. The staff could not have been nicer . It was lovely to visit a locally-owned, non-chain, coffee shop. Also, to be in a spot that is brimming with life, energy, health, and spirit. I asked for a recommendation from the staff - and the one they suggested, prickly pear iced tea (no caffeine) — was phenomenal. My colleague enjoyed his prickly pear energy drink. I hadn’t been here since my work site office a mile or two away (U of A Science and Tech Park) closed in early 2020, and I was so glad to return. I’m looking forward to coming back very soon.
