Came from out of town to celebrate new years eve and was not allowed in because my fiance a 6’4 300+ pound man had on sweats. We were told that they had a dress code, when asked about the women wearing sweats we were told they were more laxed on the women. They then pointed at a sign showing the dress code which also stated the rules where enforced Thursday - Saturday. We came on a Wednesday night. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU LOOK BLACK BLACK and wear sweats lol smh.

I was there at karaoke and it got a bit loud for me , the patio was great and the music was lower. The service was pretty good inside considering how busy it was. The patio service was a bit quicker , not a whole lot of people were out there. Overall it was an interesting night.

This place is awesome. The bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly. The outside seating area is great for chatting with friends and there's places inside to sit that are not in the way of the pool tables or bar seating. The food is prepared by an actual chef, the food truck out front makes the best shrimp po boy outside Nawleans.

I had a deeply concerning experience at The Nugget Bar on May 5, 2024. During a karaoke event I went to, I believed my drink was drugged, and I was unable to move on my own, while the person I suspected was involved, led me outside and took me home. Despite being in the state I was in, NONE of security checked on me, and I was left alone with this person not knowing he was the predator. I was led past security to his vehicle and taken home by this person who I thanked prematurely because I was completely unaware of what he had planned.
When I brought up my concerns about this incident to Kevin in June, I was met with inconsistent responses about video footage availability by Shira a guard and Kevin the manager. After following up again in July, I was banned from the bar. It was retaliation from the Nugget for raising my concerns. I reached out to multiple times, and my complaint was not taken seriously. I was told this by Shira : " We allowed the suspect to present evidence. He showed the owner several screenshots of messages between you two of you thanking him the following day Taking all evidence into consideration a decision was made that you will not be allowed to return to the Nugget"
This place doesn't prioritize the safety of their patrons, their stuff is highly incompetent of performing basic investigations and I really hope The Nugget Bar improves how they handle such incidents moving forward. So that their patrons don't get into a worse incident than what I had.🌹
