We are here from Massachusetts visiting family. We like to spoil ourselves on vacation with a good donut shop, and Young’s does not disappoint! The owners and staff are really nice, and there was a good selection to choose from. There are a couple tables if you want to eat in and socialize with them. They will check in, and chat if they aren’t busy with customers. We got a buttermilk, a plain, a filled, and a glazed. We also got a spinach feta and an apple fritter. All were really good! While we were there, one of the owners came out with a new donut to share with the couple at the other table. It was really yummy looking and we commented. He went right back out back and made us our own to try and it was heaven! They also have burritos that looked really good!

Cute little shop with classic choices. I brought my daughter& I had the sour cream old fashioned and she had a cream filled Boston. Delicious donuts and the largest cinnamon rolls I’ve ever seen! Good price and they filled our individual donut bags with donut holes! I’ll be back!

The ladies who run this shop are amazing! They love what they do and they make the best donuts I've ever had. I'm greeted with a smile everytime I come in and leave happy and satisfied everytime.

Ladies were so nice, the donuts were so fluffy and delicious. The donuts were still pretty good even though I went right before closing. And the price was reasonable.

For over 15 years my family and others who were close to me have come to this hidden gem for the delicacy that are these fresh made donuts every morning, and now that all of them have passed on and only I am left I will always come here and still get donuts and look at the rising sun and think of all times I've shared here and will hopefully share many more with others. Even though the area has changed a bit not even the homeless losers outside could keep me from the treasures that lay within this shop every morning. Please never close your doors we love you.

I’d never been here before! It was amazing. They lady way so kind and let me try a couple of donut holes while I made my selection. I had a lot of questions because there were so many donuts I’d never seen before! She told me what every single donut was. I bought a dozen for work and they were cheaper than Amy’s donuts. I’d been missing a good donut since Le Caves closed down. Sufficed to say I have found my new favorite donut location!

I have been going here for years. I stopped when I had a bad experience. I tried it again when I found out they were under new management, it has completely got rid of the bad and replaced it with YUMMY. I go there at least once or twice a week. I’d go more often but my husband found donut crumbs in my car. I didn’t even have time to remember any of the millions of excuses floating around in my head to use. He knew I was on a sugar high.

The broasted chicken is the best. Crispy on the outside and moist and juicy on the inside. It’s SO good

I was over the moon when I found out that they had kolaches on Friday and Saturday. Soft and tender can’t even describe it. You have to experience it for yourself.

They have the best breakfast burritos. I got one for my husband
and he loved it! I do believe that he loves it more than he loves me!
They make a certain daily kind each day. Nice, fresh, hot and made from REAL EGGS. Not bagged eggs.

On to the DONUTS! My most favorite one is this cherry thing split in half, with cream and cherries almost oozing out of the sides. IT’S SO good. I can’t even describe the taste. Just describing it makes my mouth water.

The person in charge of baking is Robert. He is the baking magician. There are so many choices of donuts to choose from. It’s a good thing that I don’t work there. No donut would be safe.
If you want something special, just ask them. If they could do it..they will!!

Robert’s wife is Terry “the boss”. Every one there is so friendly.
They treat you like family. I’m telling the honest truth. They don’t just put on a happy face to get the sales. They love each other and they love their customers and it shows.

I always stop there on my way home from the doctor. It’s my treat to myself after they take blood out of me or any of the endless reasons I go there. (when get old, you’ll know what I’m talking about.

I’m at the doctor right now. You know what that means…

On that side of town, stopped in with wife, had not been to Youngs donuts since moved back to Arizona 2 years ago.
Saw sign out front “ New Management “
Uh oh…
“ Youngs donuts by Rise N Shine…”
Went in, not as was before, 1 pm Saturday not much left.
IMMEDIATELY SAW DONUTS WERE WAY TALLER / BIGGER. Not the same, but open to try. Lady was nice said new owners took over year and half ago.
Anyone from past would say Young’s WAS BEST DONUTS EVER HAD. Super soft, and moist, made the difference.
Got assortment of what was left, brought home, had adult kids over, we all said “ good donuts”
NOT GREAT! NOT THE SAME AS USED TO BE!
NOT BEST DONUTS WE EVER HAD.
We all said, Bosa definitely better than these now, Donut wheel, named few other places.
I AM BUMMED! Spoke of these with wife for years, she never had them, she likes Bosa better (she’s from Phoenix area), I have to agree.Taller, bigger donuts are NOT AS SOFT AND MOST AS THEY USED TO BE!
I only have donuts every few months, but am a foodie, love good food, of any kind.
Now, 2025, “YOUNG BY RISE N SHINE
DONUTS”, is good. Average, not great.
Don’t know what they did to make them bigger, taller; but they are NOT better, only bigger.
SAD, Youngs donuts DEFINITELY NOT the best donuts anymore. Bummed, Tucson icon gone. I won’t be back.

Killer donuts and excellent breakfast burritos at a great price. I brought a dz to the hospital for staff taking care of a friend and the staff kept commenting on how good these were.

We really enjoyed our stop here. The kids inhaled their donuts right in the lobby. They have a nice large selection of donuts of all kinds.
Rubbert, the baker is a cute hottie who's very nice. 🥰

I was intrigued by the offerings of this donut shop. The owners go over and above with food quality and service. They make you feel at home the moment you walk in. Immediately they offered me a donut hole when I walked in. The flavor and texture was very nice. What I was most curious was about their broader chicken. The chicken is cooked the perfection and seasoning was delicious. I highly recommend going to rise and shine.
