Very poor customer service from the kitchen. Even for a zoo restaurant.

Overall bad experience. Had to wait over half an hour for the food. No ketchup, no pretzels, no one is cleaning up.

Flamingo Grill was a nice place to eat while at the Reid Zoo. Our Grandchildren ordered Kid's meals with Macaroni & Cheese. Portions were on small side for them ( 7 & 12), but would have been good size for toddler. Prices are pretty reasonable for a zoo restaurant. I am only rating 4 stars because nobody was cleaning the tables, and iT was quite a challenge to get some Ketchup- at first glance, there looked to be plenty, but as it turned out, they were empty containers. Staff did eventually get us some more, but they still didn't discard old containers. There is Inside and outdoor seating. I have attached some photos of menu

Save your money! Extremely overpriced for what you get. We were waiting for 10 minutes for coffee. They served us hot dogs with nothing! It was just a bun and a sausage, there was a poor choice of condiments, only mayonnaise and ketchup, no

Cashier sent wrong order to kitchen after asking me twice what I wanted. Then, they proceeded to tell me how I was wrong after giving me the wrong food. Don't bother with these people.

Save yourself from getting the Koren corndogs. I got the halg and half woth the fresh fry batter and sugar. Nasty and no French fry on it anywhere.

The soft pretzel and cheese is delicious. The kids pizza is always burnt and I definitely do not recommend the tacos.

The hamburgers are delicious

Tasty food options and there are even a couple gluten free such as the gluten free burger and popcorn. Beware of you're celiac that there may be cross contaminated fries. Everything is pretty overpriced but that's kind of expected.
prickly pear lemonade was outstanding, I'd go just for that, I still love the animals!!pretzels great, service nice. prices fair.. go ......

We love the café. Everyone is so friendly that works there and they’ve got great food and drinks! We especially like getting our zoo membership discount.

Standard Zoo fare. The food is fine, the service a little slow, but mostly do know that, even though the Zoo makes a big deal about everyone needing to mask indoors per county rules, half the employees serving visitors here were unmasked anyway. Given that, I recommend bringing your own food and eating outside.
