Jake's Spoon at Wickenburg Ranch Golf and Social Club

The food was decent although portion sizes are small. What deserves mention is the extremely slow service. We had guests from out of state dining here for the first time. After nearly 90 minutes we were still waiting for appetizers. Unacceptable excuses from our server and management .

Shannon was our waiter, she was awesome! Quite a bit of food for the price! Jake's should do themed dinner more often

We invited guests to dinner at Jake's. Embarrassing. A steak was ordered medium rare. Came medium well. Was sent back while the rest ate their meal.The next steak came medium. Guest refused to send it back and just dealt with it. We were embarrassed. I don't care that the bill was comped. Where is consistency with this restaurant?

Recently had one of Jake’s spoon creation dish, Osso Bucco, and it was terrible. I had this dish numerous times elsewhere and always loved it. The meat was very dry and served with very little sauce. Tasted like the meat was boiled and the sauce was an afterthought. The supposed roasted vegetables served with the dish were not caramelized and tasted like reheated leftovers. Unfortunately not the first time that they failed to meet standards. Trying to support the club, but with such terrible execution I cannot justify spending my time and money doing so. My wife addressed the food quality issue numerous times with the food and beverage manager with no improvements. Going elsewhere for a great dinner experience.

Celebrated my husbands birthday last night. Food was delicious and my martini was excellent. My favorite Wickenburg restaurant.

We had the special of the day, swordfish and it was done perfectly. It was paired with risotto and carrots for a lovely presentation. Service was prompt and attentive.

The food has gotten better for sure, but for the cost I think the level of quality, fresh food needs to be improved. Often times lettuce is wilted and not cleaned or crisp, avocados are brown and mushy. The prices are equivalent to higher end restaurants, therefore the presentation also needs to be at a higher level. It is hit or miss. Sometimes it is very good but not always. Fresh, clean, quality food is what takes it to another level.

We had a table of 4 and 3 of us ordered the seared ahi tuna and all 3 came out completely different presentation-wise and quantity/size. It also tasted a bit fishy - which is normally not the case for this dish. Restaurant wasn't very busy at all, but service was pretty slow.

Chicken salad on Croissant wasn't that bad but then the chef put already cooked fries which were room temperature maybe Lazziness some one needs to have a sit down chat with him.

Shareable's and service were great! Unfortunately the pizza was horrible. Sorry, but it was a cracker crust. So hard and so thin. Unable to eat. The onions and peppers were raw and little to no sauce or cheese. What a shame!!!

Roxanne, our server did an outstanding job. Table seated at did not have plates or setups. Protein portions in salads continue to get smaller.

That new summer menu had a lot of dishes I want to try! My Asiago gnocchi with bison meatballs was delish!. Service and atmosphere were great!

A bit out of the way but worth the trip.

Once again, my hat is off to the staff at Jake's Spoon for another fantastic Lobster Feast. The salads along with the Lobster were prepared to perfection. Our server Stevee was outstanding. She made sure all of our needs were met and checked back to make sure we didn't need anything. The Chefs and other kitchen folks did a great job.
