A bit out of the way but worth the trip.

NOTE: this restaurant is a member’s only facility.
The management allowed us to eat there as the place had received changed to Members Only, and we were unaware of that. All internet searches did not mention that fact.
There were 5 of us. Beverages were served promptly, and our orders taken by the bartender after time was spent perusing the large menu.
The food was served pretty quickly compared to other places like this. One order (mine!) was a bit delayed but came as soon as I noted that to the server.
Food was well prepared in generous portions and hot to the table. There were no complaints from any of my companions. Typical American fare. Prices were a bit higher than at comparable locations. However, it is a golf club.
Everyone did say that it was very noisy there. Other guests walking by looked at us like we shouldn’t be there, so it’s a bit on the snobby side.
Would I eat there again, discounting the fact of members only? Maybe. The food was good and in generous quantity. The service was quick and adjusted when necessary. Prices were reasonable for the type of restaurant. It just was boy’s club noisy and the snootiness of others was off-putting.

I’ve lived here for 9 years. They have gone through multiple chefs. It used to be amazing. Had the fish and chips. I sat for 15 minutes before a server showed up. The place was empty. The crust on the fish was so thick that it was hard to find the fish. Not going back.

I was hungry so I forgot to feed my camera.

French Dip - really good, thinly sliced beef was soft and tender with gooey melted cheese. Just perfect and Yummy.

Reuben - way too salty and fatty. Yes, fat, almost more fat than a bacon from the pastrami slices. I am also not sure if the salt was from the sour Kraft or the pastrami but it was totally not edible. My husband said how come everything is salty for you these couple of days. He took a bite and that was it. He gave me some of his French Dip. The worst Reuben I have ever had.

Service- probably 1 1/2 star if compared to Cowboy Cookin. Surprisedly bad from a private CC.

The Island themed dinner was excellent!!! The waitress was attentive. The food arrived in a timely manner. We will definitely return for another themed dinner.

The whole experience was excellent! I enjoyed the muffaletta sandwich. it was warm, super tasty and a fun try. And if course the fries were super crispy and yummy. Our server was friendly, was well versed on the menu, came to the table often without being overbearing. Not s ingle thing could have made our lunch better!

Had dinner at Jake's and it was very good. The server Jeorgia was very nice and pleasant. Food runners were very friendly as well. Overall a very nice experience.

Steak dinner was fabulous, NY steak was cooked to perfection, two different temperatures for each of us spot on. Not a La carte made it a great value! Service was the best.

Pasta night is always a hit and great value! I brought a special bottle of wine 🍷, but they ran out of proper glasses so the wine didn't shine as it should have.

St Patrick Day was fun and busy. The food tasted good but wasn't hot at all. Drinks were great! Service superb!

Traveled from Phoenix (2/23/25), to visit.
Hostess informed us that we had to be members of ‘Wickenburg Ranch’ to eat there!
We asked when this happened and she ‘rudely’ informed that restaurant access has been like this since 1/2025. I asked why there was nothing on website, at entrance or on ‘Open Table’ App which is active for this restaurant. Apparently they have enough business within Wickenburg Ranch clientele. Yes the “Ranch” gates are open. Even ‘Corte Bella’ will open gates for public to experience their Restaurant (4.4 stars) as will the Hummingbird Cafe (5 stars) at ‘Paradise RV Park in Sun City. Very disappointed and disgusted.
