We were traveling back to Tucson from Texas and needed dinner so popped in on a Saturday night, never having been here before. Having had Texas BBQ for a number of meals the days prior I can say that this place needs help with the food. My husband got the pork ribs and sausage saying it was ok. I ordered the turkey melt - SKIP THIS ONE as it was VERY dry and little flavor until I drowned it in their so-so BBQ sauce. The waitress was rude taking our order, rude when I explained that I needed BBQ because the sandwich was so dry and never came back to check again after. We won't be returning.

We went here for dinner during the wine festival. Things have changed since the building burnt down in 2018. Took a while to build back but not it is much larger and better for access. We tried the Catfish. This was really tasty and came with mega fries and cole slaw. The service was good and the food hot.

Burgers were great. Combo plate was delicious. We had a wonderful server. You could tell she was working her butt off. We will definitely be back next time we’re in town.

My family and friends had been very excited to try this place out. We did not get seated, they told us to sit where ever. They brought us only enough silverware for half of us. As she walked away she mumbled she didn't know who our waitress would be. When the waitress arrived she acted as if we had been bothering her for even coming in. It was horrible service. The regular fries looked like they say it all day after being cooked. The pulled pork and brisket had no flavor. The only thing with eating was the sausage and beer battered fries. I don't recommend this place to anyone. When we went to pay the waitress said everyone comes there after the orchard in a rude condescending way.

We drove 100 miles ONE WAY today to eat lunch here after visiting Apple Annies Orchard. We arrived at 1103 AM & we were the 1st & only people there. The smoker outside wasn't fired up & going (RED FLAG). We ordered the SUPER BBQ plate w/ chix, brisket & pulled pork. It only took 5 mins to bring us our order... (RED FLAG). Everything was dried out w/ no juices on the plate. We figured since they were closed on Sun that this was their leftovers from Sat. If this is how they serve BBQ food everyday, they don't know what they are doing. We were sad because we were looking forward to having some fantastic BBQ food here. If anybody has tasted the Santa Maria style BBQ food (tri-tip, ribs, pulled pork over oak wood) out in Santa Barbara Calif.area, than you know what REAL BBQ food is supposed to taste like. We will never go back there & we will give our friends the 411about this place.

My wife and I shared the three meat special; ribs, brisket and pulled pork, plus a slice of berry/peach pie for dessert. Delicious!

The waitress was excellent! I give the food a negative 5 stars. The best part of the meal for me was the iced tea and for my wife she liked the fresh cut french-fries. I order a full rack of ribs (a BBQ restaurant you can't go wrong right), WRONG. Had a gut ache all night and still have one as I'm writing this. They were the toughest, tasteless, driest and had an 1/2-inch layer of fat to boot. The coleslaw was the worst as well. It tasted like it was made with balsamic vinegar. The fried okra was tasteless and soggy. My wife ordered the salad bar that left a lot to be desired. The restaurant seemed to have a clean, family-friendly atmosphere. However, after ordering out meals, we noticed that the T.V. selection had either an MMA fight to watch or Newsmax on the big screen. Neither are appropriate for a family Saturday afternoon meal.
Good place for smoked meat and cold beer. Friendly service round out the trifecta. Being able to sit in a railroad car is a bonus

We loved the interior and exterior decor, and the menu did not disappoint. This place has excellent barbeque and is a great place to relax after a long day of sight seeing.

Sooooo disappointed. Sheila's baby back ribs were so overdone she couldn't eat them. We sent them back. I ordered brisket stuffed baked potato. It too was dry. Came out lukewarm, cheese didn't even melt, and the brisket was overcooked and dry. Bear ordered chicken, sausage and pork rib platter but they were out of sausage. We arrived around 8pm, but the food shouldn't have tasted like it was forgotten on the grill since breakfast. I will admit the fried green beans were perfectly cooked and delicious!
