We spent a couple of hours discussing and sampling Pillsbury wines with Sam Pillsbury, who by any measure is a Renaissance Man. Mr. Pillsbury is a viticulturist, filmmaker, and world traveler. It was a pleasure to meet him, sample his wine and learn what makes his operation truly unique. I encourage anyone interested in wine, particularly Southern Arizona wine to make the trip to this remote location. It will be well worth it. And, don't be put off by the modest surroundings. The wines are outstanding.
Spent time w Sam Pillsbury. A brilliant, entertaining guy. Unique, artistic wines.
Knowledge and wine making are exceptional,
My friends and I had the most amazing time at the winery. The wines are absolutely delicious and the knowledge of Sam Pillsbury epic. It was such a calm and relaxing environment. I will most definitely look for these wines back home. I would recommend anyone visiting the area to stop by the winery for a tasting.
Amazing winery. The server was super kind & the wine was delicious. I can’t wait to visit again when I come back to Wilcox
Enjoyed our flight tasting a couple of the reds Romeros Syrah, Guns’s and kisses are complex rich well made executed wines.
They would be favorite anywhere!
One of our favorite wines from Arizona! We finally got to see where the grapes come from. Sam was there and he was always super gracious and willing to spend a little of his time chatting with you.. Even if he's in the middle of harvest and has been up for over a dozen hours. Put this place on your list of vineyards to visit.
Best wine tasting experience anywhere, ever. Good wine and knowledgeable staff. We joined their wine club. Stay over at the nearby RhumbLine Huts in the Vineyards for an unforgettable experience.
Amazing wines with very knowledgeable staff. We were welcomed by the tasting room manager and the owner. Excellent wines!!
May have been just an off day at Pillsbury but it wasn't a very pleasant experience.. The white wine flight was $20.00 but they only had two whites and each pour was miniscule. Would have been embarrassed to even charge someone..Bad decision on my part to order it. Red flight not too bad. Will not go back to Pillsbury Wine.

We were very impressed with the wines at this location and it was a great location to stay as a Harvest Host location. Also both the hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable.
We recently visited the tasting room in Willcox, Az. Our Host was amazing and knowledgeable. She knew everything about every Wine and had so much information about Sam and the history of Pillsbury Wine Company! Every Wine has incredible aromas and tastes! She made our tasting absolutely wonderful!
Very personable and a different philosophy of winemaking. If your a believer of Napa Valley, California, you need to change your ways. You get a lot to taste for your 20$. Not usually a fan of Petite Syrah, but I purchased a bottle of theirs.
We have visited the Pillsbury tasting room in Cottonwood many times during our trips to Northern Arizona. This was our first time in southern Arizona and our first visit to the actual Pillsbury winery site. We met the Owner/Winemaker and had a great wine tasting experience. We own a winery in California and have been impressed by the wine and the employees both in Cottonwood and Willcox. Highly recommend Pillsbury Wine Company.
Some of the best original wine we have tasted. It is a small winery, but high in quality.
