We were looking for a place to go to get a light meal, and happen upon this place on Route 66, an old diner, we split a Club sandwich and fries 🍟, the fries were soggy and the toast on my sandwich was a little crispy, but edible, the people working there were top notch, the kid in the booth next to us, threw up and the staff quickly moved in to clean up everything with smiles on their faces, that takes a lot to be gracious while cleaning up someone else's embarrassment....
I've been cooming here for 30+ years and the place never disappointed me.
There's literally nothing to write home about but the food is decent, the service ok and the prices still somewhat acceptable.
You won't experience revolutionary culinary experiences here. You'll get filled up with decent, homemade dishes and that's all there is to expect.
I'll stop by there without hasistation in the future.
It took a bit to be acknowledged and seated, despite not being real busy. I had a burger, after being told they were known for them. It comes with fries as an option. Fries were ok, but the fryer oil was old, the fries were dark brown. The burger was a disappointment, good bun, a little shredded lettuce, single slice of cheddar… but the burger was dry and pretty bland. Maybe I’m spoiled by In N Out… Servers were friendly and personable. An “ok” place that could be awesome.
