Outstanding service, clearly experienced and able to assess the timing, needs, and direction of our group. Very nicely done meals. We had an excellent twist on the old spinach dip, with a Chipotle pesto kick. Excellent steaks and lamb. Very nicely done.

Service was good, staff was prompt and friendly, but for two grilled chicken sandwiches with fries and two glasses of wine $70 with a tip. Pretty expensive chicken
We live locally here and have had many great experiences. Unfortunately the last few have not been so nice. Ever since new management we are only allowed to have a bottle of wine and not allowed to take the remaining home. Arizona law allows this to be done. And every other restaurant in town allows it. Why wouldn’t they want to sell another bottle of $40 wine? No clue. They need to get a clue since we have always taken our guests there. Thinking not anymore. Too bad
This is an update on a review from back in 2013. This steakhouse is located in the Best Western Plus of Williams Arizona. We loved this hotel from the start for its picturesque grounds and its proximity to the Grand Canyon and Bearizona. All this time later (ten years since our last visit) and nothing (save for staff) has changed about this steakhouse or the quality of its food. On our most recent visit, we ate dinner twice at the steakhouse, located in the hotel's dining area, adjacent to the outdoor pool area. the first night, my wife enjoyed The Mountain Trout, while opted for the Newport Ribeye. The second night, she enjoyed the White Marble pork chop, while I had the Red Bird Chicken Breast. The food was seasoned simply and delicious, as well as good deal, accompanied with soup (a green chili pork stew) or mixed green salad (huge) and two sides (I recommend the green beans, the garlic mash potatoes or the borracho beans). Everything was cooked to perfection. The restaurant's wine list is not extensive, but it's also not overpriced. On our first night, we shared a fine bottle of Pinot Noir. The service is fast and friendly, with water and bread for the table. The prices are extremely reasonable for the amount of food you recieve. If you're looking for a nice dinner away from downtown Williams, I highly recommend the Western View for its friendly staff and terrific food!
We were on holiday in the USA doing a road trip and took in the Grand Canyon. We decided to stop in Williams for dinner and found good reviews on Trip Advisor for this place. The restaurant was very busy but we were found a table. Our waiter who unfortunately I can’t remember his name, was very nice, helpful and attentive. He filled up our glasses and brought extra bread as required too, as well as advising on the menu. We had decided on one course, a steak each and sides. We were delighted to find that this also included what I would call a starter, soup or salad. Everything was well cooked and tasted lovely. We have found during our travels the cost of food in the USA is much inflated compared to home. This was not the case here, we found it very much value for money.
THE WESTERN VIEWSTEAK HOUSE IS THE BEST HOTEL RESTAURANT THAT I HAVE EVER EATEN AT. THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT AND THE FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING.
Celebrated wife's birthday with a steak dinner. She had filet and I had a 16 oz porterhouse. Great service and both top of the line steaks. Competitive prices. Will go back next trip.
Great food and drinks and service!
I'll be honest, the options for dining in Williams are limited to begin with, but we heard a local say this was where everyone goes for celebrations and things like that, and we looked at the menu and the scoprions sounded good, so we fell for it and went here for dinner. The restaurant itself is clean, pretty, and well decorated although it was almost February and they still had the Christmas tree up. I want to preface this by stating that our waiter, Alfredo, was very kind, but he wasnt' very attentive. We sat for 10 minutes in a pretty much empty restaurant before getting our menus, and another 10 minutes went by before we were asked for a drink order, then another 10 minutes until the drinks showed up and our order was taken. We ordered the Scorpions that convinced us to go there in the first place, my husband had the country baked steak and I actually got pasta with meat sauce (basically spaghetti). The salad that came with my spaghetti was good and we did get a tiny loaf of bread to start which was served warm and really cute! We also each had house margaritas and they were super tasty! Then our food started coming... I actually enjoyed my pasta with meat sauce, but how hard is it to make spaghetti? But I felt so bad for my husband. His steak was gray, tougher than shoe leather, and less than half an inch thick. The garlic mashed potatoes (a premium side you pay extra for) were basically soup. His plate looked like someone microwaved a Hungry Man TV dinner and then charged us $24 for it. The worst part was, we never actually got our appetizer, the Scorpions, which were what drew us there to begin with. Alfredo admitted he forgot to enter the order and did offer to put the order in for us for those right away, but at that point we'd had enough and didn't feel like taking the risk of ordering and paying for another disappointing dish. I ended up sharing my spaghetti with my husband and he ate what he could stomach of his meal, although it wasn't much. Overall, I feel bad saying it but this place wasn't good at all. It made me wish we'd just saved the money and gone to Pizza Hut or KFC. I am giving it 2 stars because the salad and spaghetti I had were good, the little bread loaf was cute and tasty, and the margaritas were awesome!
The Best Western Hotel makes good use of its breakfast area by turning it into a steakhouse at night. We checked in on a Friday evening and were pleased that they could accomodate us wihin an hour of our arrival. It's mid-priced for a steakhouse. The room was decorated nicely in an autumn theme. It was very busy and our server was visibly overworked, but greeted us in a friendly manner and did her absolute best in spite of how busy she was. Our food was properly prepared and we enjoyed our evening.

We were staying at this hotel, and decided to enjoy dinner here on the last night of our stay. The first impression wasn’t great, as we surprised the hostess, who was checking her phone. If I know I’m going to a $100+ dinner, I hate feeling like I’m interrupting someone, or being an inconvenience. We were immediately taken to a table just outside the breakfast area, and just as we sat down, the music started. I really enjoyed the sound of that guitar. While the singing was good, I would’ve loved to just have the guitar featured for this dining room atmosphere. I found out from our waiter that the guitarist had been with that BW over 14 years! Our waiter was very nice, attentive, and his subtle sense of humor was a delight. We had a bottle of house Shiraz with our steaks, and it was very good. Dessert was cheesecake: yum-meee! Overall a very nice experience.
The food is excellent. I had a steak and it was grilled perfectly. The green beans were fabulous. We had a couple of drinks and they were made well. Service was exceptional, even though they were short staffed. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Great drinks and bartenders are awesome!!
Great Hotel, and Atmosphere, Excellent Food and Service. More Kachina Dolls than I have ever seen in one place showcased in the walls and everywhere you looked. Steaks, live music and wonderful fun waitresses and servers.
Excellent service. Food and drinks were very good. Good atmosphere. We stayed for nearly three hours. Would go back again with no hesitation.
