Not exactly what id call a steakhouse more like a restaurant in Best Western hotel . Its got nice views of mountains. The waitress is very s l o w and should probably find a different profession. The waitress took the order of the person next to us and we were here first .
The guy at the table even caught it . Like really your gonna do that . She did !
My wife and I had there coke products that were really watered down no carbonation the sweet tea was out of a drink machine . The food looks amazing and tastes really good . We had the duck and ribeye.
Never had a bad experience here, decided on something lighter & the burger didn't disappoint, steak fries are delicious, ordered medium & almost perfect, server Rego was excellent
Service was good. Food mediocre. My husband had the filet. He said it tasted like fish. It must have been cooked in the same spot as fish or something. We informed the waiter and he apologized and took it away. I had the shrimp scampi. It lacked flavor. We both had desert. I had the apple cobbler, which was very good and my husband enjoyed the cookie and ice cream. The server did comp one dessert, however, next time we stay at this location, we will eat elsewhere.
TLDR: I don’t leave lower than 3 stars unless I’ve been offended, so since I wasn’t- 3 stars. The food was ok, the service was although amiable, very slow, and the atmosphere was laughable considering the price of everything. They have you pretty captive at the hotel, so maybe that’s why charge what they do? I just don’t understand the value.
We decided to eat here and were seated at a table in the hotel lobby area (not inside the restaurant area) around 7:30 the night we were staying at the hotel. I’m leaving this review a bit late, but it was the week before Easter, as you might be able to are the Easter tree decorated in the lobby/dining room? By the time we were visited to ask for our drink order, we had been sitting for at least 15 minutes. If it had been any other restaurant, not inside the hotel, we would’ve left. They got our drink orders and we waited another 15 minutes to actually receive our drinks. (I got a coffee with kahlua which was good, as expected) and we were told that we would be visited again in a bit for our food order. We had originally planned to get a full dinner, but after waiting another 20 minutes before the server came back for our food order, we decided that it was getting really late to eat a full meal, and looking at the dismay on the other diners’ faces as they waited longingly for their food, we decided that waiting for a full dinner would put us past our food cut off window 🤣🤣🤣. We ordered appetizers instead:
Baked Garlic Brie (Served warm with toasted mini bread slices) - we did enjoy this but felt that it wasn’t served with enough bread slices and had to order more as there was a lot more cheese than bread.
Pretzel & Cheese (2 /g. Pretzel sticks and warm cheese) the pretzel bread was a bit dry and the cheese sauce tasted as if it were an opened can of GFS nacho cheese. For the price, we had hoped for a bit better texture and flavor.
Shrimp Cocktail (6 jumbo shrimp served with cocktail sauce, chopped celery and lemon wedges.) The member of our party who ordered this enjoyed it.
Like I said, we had initially hoped to order a full dinner here but we’re happy that we didn’t because by the time we received our appetizers it was almost 9pm. We couldn’t believe everything was taking so long as we didn’t see the place as being over busy or crowded.
I’m not sure if there was any music playing, because we were seated in the lobby area. Therefore, I can’t really comment on atmosphere because we were in a hotel lobby sitting next to families with children who were tired from waiting for food.
I’m thinking the pricing may be where it is because of the captivity of the audience, because charging real steakhouse prices for what we saw coming out on other diners’ plates seemed steep to me in my opinion.
The wine list is fairly short, consisting of mostly California wines. The whiskey/bourbon list is pretty decent and the rest of the spirits lists are pretty standard.
A hidden gem of a steakhouse in the Best Western hotel Willams Az.. our server was very friendly. Aaron was so helpful, working with her food allergies.
Her filet minon was great, and I had the pork ribs that were so tender.
If you want a very good meal, this is your place.
Margaritas are really good!!!
Cozy spot with a rustic vibe and solid steak options.
The filet mignon was juicy and cooked perfectly. Friendly service and a nice place to unwind after a day of exploring.
Worth a stop if you’re in the area.
The brown sugar jalapeños were the best thing I think I’ve ever eaten. I would eat that for a dessert too. It says spicy but they weren’t me. Yum. I will crave those and might actually drive the seven hours to have them again.
Steak was delicious.
Husband loved his green beans and steak.
Mac n cheese failed in comparison and I didn’t get to a second bite. That is why they didn’t get a full 5 stars.
Wait staff was excellent also.
I do recommend this place if you’re traveling. And I especially the jalapeños. Does anyone have a recipe?
If you are in the mood to pay top dollar for a perfectly cooked steak, delicious sides, tasty beers, and enjoy attentive service in an upscale atmosphere, this is the place for you. Every now and then, a $45 ribeye can really hit the spot. I could fault nothing with this meal, and I’m a thrifty person. So I expected excellence at these prices, and they delivered.
They did have other more affordable options, like a $16 burger. I can guarantee that would have been delicious too. These folks know what they are doing.
Go for an experience and a perfect meal. If you are a bargain hunter, you should probably go elsewhere.
Soup was good. Steak was mid.
We were shocked when the single malt scotch whisky we ordered was served in a tequila shot glass...for $36 ea. oof.

Great food and service. Nice atmosphere but kind of in a hotel lobby look. Great place for a steak dinner.

I didn’t realize this was just a Hotel restaurant. As far as hotel restaurants go, not bad. Steak was not cooked right, and just all around not great, servers were very nice and adequately handled our needs. I guess this may be some of the best steak you can find in Williams AZ. The other steak house is actually just a bar that reads of urine. The shrimp stuffed peppers for an appetizer was the best takeaway, even though they were burnt they were delicious.

Overall, the dining experience was just okay. I ordered the New York steak and asked for medium done. It came out well done. I sent it back and got a replacement. The second steak came out a little better and it was still not medium. I know what a medium should be. Oh well…
