(Thai iced tea, yellow curry, spicy cashew stir fried and fried Thai banana roll) We stopped in Winslow among other reasons on our way to see Meteor Crater. Eating here was a wonderful experience that added to our adventure. The staff was very friendly and the food fantastic. A must for anyone who enjoys Thai or someone who wants to try something new. Next time we are in the area, we will bring the whole family.
I love the Thai food at this restaurant! I miss them being open. I hope they come back soon.
We have driven past the signs for this Thai restaurant on the I-40 and never had the chance to stop and try it out. Today we decided to call in a take out order and pick it up to take home. Quick and easy to order by phone and our food was ready within 15-minutes! I ordered the chicken pad Thai (spice level 1) and my boyfriend had the beef drunken noodles (spice level 3). Chang Thai Restaurant offers amazing service and fantastic Thai food. The staff is friendly and attentive, even checking on spice levels. The menu has plenty of choices for meat eaters, vegans, and vegetarians. The curry, drunken noodles, and pineapple fried rice with chicken are some of the best. The vegetables are crisp and fresh, and the Chang Thai Sampler platter with spring rolls is a great choice, especially with the thick peanut sauce. Portions are generous and chock full of food. Located right off I-40 in Winslow, it's a perfect stop for truckers, travelers, and tourists with a Thai-feeling atmosphere and a small gift shop. The food is piping hot and ready fast, making it a must-visit spot for delicious meals and a good vibe.
