I was in Winslow for the first time on a work trip. Nice little town with friendly people. I had the opportunity to eat at Mi Pueblo a number of times. Fantastic chips and salsa both home made. I enjoyed the shrimp tacos so much that I had them again on my last night there. The carne asada plato was terrific and very distinctive from any other carne asadas I've enjoyed before. Margaritas are excellent. Will absolutely be a go to next time I come through Winslow.
A hidden gem along Route 66, this authentic family owned Mexican restaurant is a must stop for lunch or dinner. Succulent, tasty dishes at very affordable prices. Easy to spot from the road because a black classic VW Beetle is parked in the front (family owned as well and not for sale).
A hidden gem here in Winslow not for the fante hearted. The recipe is great the food so forth authentic. Meaning it has heat!!!!!! It's not whited down. I was every much surprised
