I cannot comment on atmosphere because I always order for delivery.

When ordering tonight, Miss Kayla that I talked to extremely helped me through the menu for ordering for a lot of people and I really appreciate the service that they provide through that.
And we've never had a problem with the food. We always love it it tastes great and our orders have never been messed up.
Thank you!

There is a management response to this review. Like they didn't know, I call BS.

4 yrs ago we used to come here quite regularly, 1 or 2 x a week in the winter for 5 yrs. It was much better than today. Today, Friday, we got there at 11:45.

My wife had tepid wonton soup with awful wontons. Mush is the best I could say. Probably several days old. Good flavored cool broth. Her meal was veg with tofu. Not cooked at all and not even warm. My kung pao was fine but the fried rice was not fried. It was an old rice sticky glob and maybe in the steamer or microwaved, just a mess. Maybe 2 peas and a couple small carrots.

Not anything that anyone would say was fried rice.

Been back a couple times. The fried rice still sucks. The Thai is not good at all just some seasoning on way over cooked chicken with a lot of green peppers. Stay away.

Not some place today I could recommend.

Delicious! My chicken fried rice was everything I hoped for, so flavorful. Everyone at the table loved their meal. The sweet and sour pork was crispy and yummy. The orange chicken was so good. We tried 4 different sushi rolls the Las Vegas roll was a big hit. Went for lunch, took home a lot of leftovers for dinner, bonus 👍

Haven't eaten at Asian Star in a while so just went today with five other people and only the orange chicken looked like it was flavored all of our dishes were boring. I had a Thai curry chicken and I could barely taste any coconut and no real flavor at all I'm very disappointed this used to be a good place.

Food was a little salty, new cook they said. Ordered the duck and was overcooked and dry inside and out. Couldn't eat it. Had to feed it to dog. Won't go back. And we had gone there quite a bit. And had duck before. But never this bad.

I ordered Chicken Lo Mein and as soon as I opened the container it smelt like cigarette smoke. It was uneatable! I’ve heard good things about Asian Star but I will not be ordering from them again after that experience.

The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

Been here twice now. Seems to be a hit or miss in the food. The cashew chicken is phenomenal and the portions are nice. The soups. Not so much. First time I went, I got the egg drop soup. No flavor at all. Horrible flavor. Threw it out after about 5 bites. This time I ordered the Tom Ka soup. This soup is normally my favorite but this place doesnt seem to know how to make it. Worst tasting Tom Ka I’ve ever had in my life. Hardly any flavor and seems very watered down. Usually Tom Ka is made with coconut milk but this one came out orange. At first I thought it was a different order. It does have chciken, mushrooms and tomatoes in it. Not sure about onions, ginger or lemongrass. Found none in it and none of the flavors stood out. They also did mot use any lime juice or fish sauce in it which you have to have in it or it isnt Tom Ka. Red Curry paste is the secret ingredient that makes the soup and gives it so much flavor. This was definitely missing that. Extremely disappointed with the soup. I was really looking forward to it. I guess thats what you get for ordering Thai soups in a Chinese restaurant. Lol The service was off the charts great. The young girl at the front was so friendly and personal. She is a huge asset to the business. The atmosphere was also very nice and warm feeling. Food was the only problem I had with the place but thats a big part of it. Food is why we go to restaurants. Lol

The worst Asian food I’ve ever had. It was so bad that I ended up taking everything home. The soup tasted like it was made with dirty dish water. The only edible thing was those free fried “noodles”.
