“It was our first time to this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised and delighted! I ordered the coconut shrimp and he requested the grilled shrimp salad. The salad was served in the largest salad bowl I've ever seen! I also received a generous portion of salad along with my shrimp, rice and tortillas. The salad was crisp and fresh, and we even ordered chips and salsa, which we requested to be lightly salted with no tajin. Everything was great and we plan to return often!”

The owners are are very cool and strike up some good conversation when it is a little bit slow. All in all I would absolutely rate this bar a 10/10 (very glad my work put me in a hotel so close 🤣)”

“We chose Yuma Landing for our HS Graduate's dinner celebration.\nThey gave us the bar room off to the side for some privacy.\nYuma Landing was quite accommodating. We had around 16 guests. \nWe each were given a menu to order individually. The service was great; the food came out at the proper temperature and everyone was satisfied with their order.\nWe took our own cake and had cake and ice cream for dessert. Yuma Landing provided plates and utensils. I was amazed at how well the event went.\nThank you Yuma Landing.”

Then brought this tiny cup of guacamole and charged full price. Finally, the chicken sandwich and fries show up. Go figure, the fries are lukewarm. Sandwich was really good. Told the bartender about the sad fries. Offered a replacement but not a discount. After an hour, I wasn’t going to wait for new fries. Went to pay, asked for the BWW military discount…. “We don’t do that, sorry”… ???? In a town with a thriving military base??? Well, it has nothing but Guinness to offer me. I probably won’t be back to eat there.”

“I was in Yuma for a month to care for my mom, who happens to be Thai. We went to Aroi Thai multiple times each week. This is by far the best Thai restaurant that I have ever been to. The food is as authentic as can be. Delicious Tom Yum Gai (hot and sour chicken hot pot), phenomenal sticky rice and mango, and I also really loved the Yum Neua (beef salad). Just amazing all around. I live in Wisconsin, but you can be certain that Aroi Thai will be my first stop when I’m back in town!!”

While the food and drink were both good, due to the sweetness of both, I couldn’t eat/drink too much of it and took the rest to go. I also found that the prices were a little more than I expected, but I guess the cost of everything has gone up these days. Overall, I’d come back to give it another shot and try something different. Which is why I’m giving it 5 stars— I still want to support local businesses. It’s a nice spot, clean and the waitress was very kind.”

I ordered the chilaquiles plate. This is my go-to favorite and it was delicious and didn't disappoint! The salsas were exvellent I saw another patron was having the Machaca plate and that looked really good! Overall, a thumbs up first experience and I will be going back to try some more of their offerings.”

The Thai tea they gave me while I waited after the order mix up was well prepared. “Honestly, I wish I could give it 100 stars. From the moment I call to when I leave from picking up my order, I feel so valued as a customer. I have three kiddos so we usually call in our order and pick up. It’s always 15 minutes or less and everything is still hot and fresh by the time we get home. Our usual is the well done brisket and rare steak with extra noodles, crispy egg rolls and maybe the combination fried rice (depending on how hungry we are). Everything is amazing, every time. The staff there is always friendly, and the owner always takes his time out to greet us when he’s there. Today, the owner came and made sure everything was good and the young man at the counter, who usually takes care of us, walked my order to the door for me. It’s just the little thoughtful things and taking care of your customers that truly make a difference. There’s not many restaurants in Yuma that I would recommend but this is for sure one of them. Give them a try!”

“I was just passing through Yuma and really wanted to love this place given how close it is to the Mexican border — literally the closest crossing at Los Algodones (you could be across in about 30 minutes). But after visiting Chretin’s Mexican Food, a spot that hasn’t earned any awards in the last 10 years, it’s clear why.

The food is missing that real spark. Everything tastes scaled back and “gringa-sized” — like they’ve toned down the seasoning, heat, and authenticity to appeal to American palates. It’s not bad, but it’s not the bold, flavorful Mexican food you expect this close to the border.

The $11 margarita named “Perfect” was, not perfect or even close — it fell way short on balance and taste.”

Both plates were really good, sauced well with teriyaki, and the vegetables were good except I found it weird to include asparagus. The only other note was the shrimp came on skewers with tails. That made eating my meal not so easy, but they were seasoned excellently. I didn’t get any pics but someone posted a pic 9mo ago of the shrimp that looks just like what I had.”

“I got out of work late and the family was craving tacos. Our usual spot was closed so we drove around looking for trucks. Found this gem on 8th street. Seen previously on 32nd st by Vertical Church but never had a chance to try.

It was around late 11ish when we got there and thought he was closing down but he said they were still open and only had carnitas, al pastor and beef cheek left. So I ordered 10 al pastor tacos to try it out. They were sooo good! Kids were scarfing it down, hubie was makin a mess. There salsa was full of flavor and perfectly spicy. Throughout the whole chowdown the tortilla and meat stayed HOT HOT. I looked at them and we all nodded in agreement, time to order more!
I ordered 4 more al pastor and 1 of each of the other meats to taste.
Carnitas was crispy and had perfect texture.
Beef cheek was tender.
We also got 7up and Dr Pepper.
Everyone was perfectly satisfied.
Guy had great customer service, was friendly and answered all my questions. Super chill. Would definitely come here again.

“We visited Wingstop for the first time, and honestly, we didn’t really know the menu when we arrived. I mentioned a few things that sounded good to me — like cheese on the fries and the corn — but since we weren’t familiar with the restaurant, we decided not to order them because we weren’t sure if we would like them.

Michael helped us, and he was incredibly patient with us from the start. His customer service was excellent and very attentive.

When our food arrived, I asked my husband, “Oh, did you order the corn and the cheese for the fries?” He said no — and then Michael told us, “That was me. Since you said it was your first time here, I wanted you to have a sample so you could try them.”

That gesture truly made our experience special. Michael knows exactly how to treat customers — very respectful, kind, and thoughtful. The food was delicious, but the customer service was absolutely on point. We will definitely be coming back!
