Real Italian food in Yuma? What??!Mario met his wife in San Diego 11 years ago. Luckily for us, he's sharing a real food experience in this awesome hideaway. If you're looking for date night, catering, or a fun place to invite friends, this is it. ?

What a positive surprise! We were passing through from San Diego to Tucson and spent one night in Yuma. This Italian restaurant deserves 5 stars. The staff was very personable and friendly. We ordered the best pinsa we have ever eaten. Very delicate and tasty. The ambience was perfect. We sat outside, enjoying the twilight, the warm evening and the quiet surroundings. The restaurant is well protected in the area of a museum, which is why we felt like royalty. The entrance to the restaurant is at the entrance to the small museum, so you shouldn't be put off. Thank you for this great evening. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Tiny place, sort of hard to find. Behind the Yuma historic state park. The pizza is great. It is artisan style. Best pizza I’ve had in Yuma. By far.

***Easily 5 stars***My wife and I feel fortunate to have stumbled upon this place while traveling in Yuma / Los Algodones on a dental holiday. Not far off the beaten path, but inside the Colorado River National State Park in Yuma. Yes! I said inside the state park. No worries, though, as you walk through the gift shop to enter they will give you a voucher for the restaurant to stamp so you do not have to pay park admission. The Italian restaurant is in the next building right next to the gift shop.We walked into the restaurant and were seated and waited upon by none other than the proprietor himself, Mario. He answered our initial questions and gave us a few suggestions, including a lovely Tuscan red wine. Authentic Italian food with ingredients imported from Italy. We ended up ordering a three meat antipasti and the suppressata pinsa romana. Both were deliciouso! Three meats, three cheeses, arugula, kalamata olives, delicious olive oil etc. Pizza with tasty sauce, mozzarella, and the spicy suppressata. See pictures with this review. We will definitely be back when in the area.

Not your average Italian restaurant. Food is outstanding, menu is unique. Service very friendly. Only downside is the indoor ambiance. It's very small indoors and a big, noisy party was taking up most of the tables when we arrived. Fortunately the weather was nice and we were able to sit outside, but the patio space is also small and would not be comfortable in a Yuma summer.

Visiting family in Yuma and came across this hidden gem. Authentic Italian with amazing selection of wine. Dessert was amazing. We shared salad, pizza, and panini's. Got to meet the owner and family. What a great find!! We'll be back.

Excellent wine selection. Delicious and well prepared food with high quality ingredients. Owner, Mario, helped us pick a great wine. He is friendly and knowledgeable. It was a pleasant surprise to walk through the gift shop, then out again through the lawn area. It seemed like we were entering another country - Italy! Restaurant is clean and this is a refreshing dining option in Yuma. Our server was pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive. If you want quality made authentic Italian foods - this is the place. We'll be back.Thank you Mario

This play was an absolute gem in the middle of no where! Closest to authentic Italian food in Yuma! The ambiance was fabulous. You'll spend a $$$$ here. Each meal is a little pricey but this is the place I'd be willing to spend $25 a plate once a month. It is small so call ahead with reservations. Most people do. The only thing that is lacking are the tables. The 1980s wood grain diner tables need table cloths or period style tables to match the decor and the menu price.
