Man what a terrible experience... We should have left as soon as we were told that they didn't have half of the menu available but we wanted to give it a try since the reviews were so good. I'm not sure how they manage to keep 4.6 stars on Google. It is very misleading - this was the worst BBQ I've ever had!We came at a weird time, between lunch and dinner, so nobody was there except a guy at the bar, so we were the only folks ordering food. Despite being the only diners, we were waiting for a few minutes before being greeted and having drink orders taken. After she brought the drinks to us, we were told that the whole "shareables" section of the menu was unavailable (wings, ribs, fried pickles, fried pork skins - basically all the things we wanted to try). I don't understand why that wouldn't be told to us before we ordered drinks, but that's fine. We decided to try some other stuff since they still had most of the other meats available.I ordered a half lb of brisket and the fiesta salad, she asked if I wanted a protein on the salad, and as we're sitting under a sign that said something about the tri-tip, I asked to do that for the salad... They don't have that one either, so I get it with smoked chicken breast. I asked about what was in the green chili but I was told she didn't know... I asked if she could find out and her response was "it's like a recipe". I have dietary restrictions so I wanted to make sure I could eat it but opted against it since there was seemingly no way to find out what it was composed of. My brother ordered the pulled pork sandwich and a half lb of brisket too.The salad was super basic in appearance, and came with 3 half-full dressing cups. It was topped with dry chicken breast that was probably not cooked today, and the whole salad was mostly just lettuce. The chipotle ranch dressing was good but that's about it.The brisket arrived and I was immediately confused. It did not look like any brisket I've ever seen... More like shredded meat with a lot of burnt pieces and very stringy. I took a photo of the last bit because I couldn't finish it, even though I was very hungry and I hate to waste food. My brother said his pulled pork sandwich was just standard, but that's hard to mess up.When we decided to call it, we stacked our plates, threw our napkins on our plates, and waited 10 minutes in an empty dining room to get our check and leave.Go anywhere else. I pray that I don't get sick from this food, but I'm honestly worried because I know that the meat was not cooked today... hopefully they store their food properly at least.

Don’t waste your money on this “BBQ “ husband ordered a half rack of ribs . Ribs were very dry no flavor . Brisket was not brisket if it came like shredded beef . BBQ sauce was the only good thing about this meal. We didn’t eat anything . We had to toss it before we got a picture we were so shook on how horrible presentation was and the brisket was a slap to the face . They don’t have an updated menu online . When placing order over the phone . Lady said we don’t have this this that.. like as a business you would assume they use common sense to update their menu or website . Mac and cheese wasn’t just that it was a mush .. came in a big cup opened it up to my surprise it was half ways. Toast was white bread with butter . Oh but I can’t forget they were very generous with the fries although they were very burnt. Looked like maybe half a bag of fries on my to go container .Not impressed store bought frozen fries . BBQ IS AN ART A Delicacy and they did not meet my expectations whatsoever . Payed $51 for all items listed above and I can say I will certainly not be back. They were so much better when they first opened like they used to care . Maybe get more sides that go with bbq .

Fantastic brisket, and a very generous serving. The side salad was a lovely fresh mix. Also tried the Southwest mac...yummy!!! Kayla our waitress handled a very busy dinner crowd with grace and ease, we never wanted for anything. All in all absolutely worth the stop! Will be coming back next time we're in town.

The food here is honestly punching above its weight class. A place at this price point making food this good is uncommon.Our first night here made us add it to our list of "must returns" because we just have to try everything on the menu.Highly recommend.Lastly, Teresa (spelling?) was super enjoyable to talk with and was incredibly kind. Hope we catch her there again.

Excellent bacon jam! I have been a few different times & each sandwich I had was very good. The same waitress was there each time I have been there. She is blond, cute, friendly & each time I have been there has given great service. If you like BBQ, give this place a try.

Stopped for lunch today to have my favorite dish here which is the Twisted Steak Sandwich after a round of golf. It was lunch time and very busy but the service was great considering how busy it was. The food was amazing as always. I would highly recommend this place to anyone

If you’re a Canadian visiting family in Yuma, and you’re looking for proper southern-U.S. BBQ, you have to check this place out. Amazing food. Fun vibe. Also looks like a great place to catch a game. Owner appears to be a Niners fan, but he’s not too over the top about it. Be advised, a half rack of ribs is a lot of food here.

Good for you, for reading these reviews.I definitely recommend coming to Crouse's Flat Top Grill. I would rank their BBQ in my top ten from east coast through, well , here, Az. Their food taste great. Yummy sauces, tender tasty BBQ ( not smokey in my opinion), definitely with ordering more than you want. Take home leftover are awesome. And they have a good beer selection.

Our dine in lunch was the best in Yuma since we arrived. Between our order and that of 2 other couples, we sampled a big portion of the menu. It was prepared perfectly, prices are very resonable and of course, I ate to much. This place is a must for a repeat eatery, I will be back often. Best food in the area, visit the restaurant and taste for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

TACO TUESDAY $8.28‼️Seriously people! You can't get a fast food combo for this price. F'reals though, the smoked chicken has excellent flavor and doesn't need bbq sauce but, I recommend the jalapeño margarita sauce for these. The Half House Salad with pulled pork and raspberry chipotle bbq sauce as a dressing is an AMAZING option any day of the week.
