I recently stopped by the Dairy Queen in the foothills, and unfortunately, my experience was far from enjoyable. The ice cream was just "okay"—not bad, but nothing to write home about. What really stood out, though, was the poor service. The employees were incredibly rude and seemed entirely uninterested in providing a positive experience. Their demeanor was off-putting, and honestly, they looked like they were in a daze, which was quite concerning.
As for the cleanliness of the place, it was horrendous. The floors were sticky, the tables weren't wiped down, and it just felt uncomfortable to sit and enjoy my dessert in such a messy environment.
If you're looking for a delightful ice cream experience, I highly recommend heading to the Baskin-Robbins just down the street instead. Not only do they have a much better selection of flavors, but their staff is friendly and attentive. Plus, they maintain a clean atmosphere, and you’ll get better value for your money there as well. Save yourself the disappointment and choose Baskin-Robbins

My wife and I come here every so often for a Buster bar fix. Occasionally, I change it up and have a chocolate dipped cone ( that is chocolate ice cream dipped in chocolate, I'm a confirmed chocohalic.) This DQ always gets my order right! Staff is very pleasant and inside is always clean and inviting. Well done!

Ordered a kids chocolate dipped cone and they handed me a cherry dipped cone. I nicely said I had ordered a chocolate cone not cherry & even offered it to my 4 year old but he didn’t want it. The employee gave me a rude look and took the cone from my hands and walked away. I don’t understand the need to be rude on a mistake that clearly wasn’t mine..
Drove out to this DQ thinking it was a fully operational menu DQ. To my disappointment no burgers were sold like the DQs of other locations. Seems Yuma DQs strictly ice cream and Fortuna Rd location just chicken and hotdog. As far as staff they super friendly though. Just sucks was in the mood for the DQ signature hamburger “belt buster”.

Chocolate malt with extra malt hit the spot on a hot and humid day. Staff were all very attentive, friendly, and cheerful. We felt very welcome here. I gave a lesser score on the atmosphere because it was a bit warm and muggy inside, but the cold malt helped to cool us down, so it was tolerable.
