Everyone says it’s one of the best Mexican restaurants in Yuma and it’s the best. The menudo is amazing, the enchiladas are delicious. The place is super cute and the staff friendly

We stopped at El Charro while traveling from San Diego to Tucson. We enjoyed our experience! We loved the fresh, unsweetened iced tea and tortilla chips, a staple as far as we are concerned. We ordered our lunch and we received huge portions for both our bean and cheese burrito and our tostada grande. The chips were fresh and we had a choice of four different salsas- I recommend the one with cilantro myself. Our server Maria was incredibly attentive and every staff member seem to smile and greet us as we walked in. This establishment has been here for over 70 years And if you like Mexican food, it feels like a taste of home.

Food was good on the particular day we were there. Service was extremely slow.
The owner came by towards the end of our wait and gave a generous discount to all patrons in the restaurant.
I added a point on the service bringing it up to four to make up for the backup they had in the kitchen on this day.
We will will try the food again
